Things To Do

We’re so excited to share a few of our favorite places in the area! Downtown Palm Springs is about 20 minutes from the wedding site, and there is plenty to do there. Desert Hot Springs, where the wedding will be held, is a smaller town. I recommend reviewing this list for some fun activities during your stay. For just about anything you would like to know about the area this is a great site: Www.visitpalmsprings.com/visitorguide Palm Springs is known for its mid century architecture. It’s worth a drive around town. We will attach a website that shows various houses in the area. Sports and recreations: There are about 100 golf courses in the area! Some of the best are available as part of a resort package.
Salvation Mountain

Beal Road, Calipatria, CA 92233

Salvation Mountain is neat the Salton Sea in Niland, California, about an hour and a half drive southeast of Palm Springs, but it is an interesting site to see! It is Leonard’s tribute to God and his gift to the world with its simple yet powerful message: “God is Love.” The art piece includes flowers, trees, waterfalls, suns, bluebirds, and many other fascinating and colorful objects. It’s 50-foot height and 150-foot breadth is made totally of local adobe local clay and donated paint. It’s truly unique on the United States and probably the world.
