What to Pack

Because our wedding is a full weekend retreat, you’ll want to pack a mix of formal wear and casual camp clothes. Cedar Lakes Estate sits directly on the lake in the Hudson Valley, meaning temperatures can swing from crisp spring sunshine in the 60s during the day down into the 40s after sunset. Layers are your best friend! We want you cozy and ready for everything from lawn games to late-night bonfires. Your Weekend Packing Checklist: Event Attire: Welcome Dinner look (Cocktail attire) Wedding ceremony & reception outfit (Black-Tie Optional / Formal) A warm jacket, wrap, or coat for evening outdoor moments Camp & Casual Wear: Comfortable everyday layers (sweaters, flannels, jeans) Athletic clothing for Survivor Games and morning activities Sneakers or running shoes for walking the grounds and trails Cozy loungewear or pajamas for the Treehouse after-party Outdoor & Personal Gear: Tennis or pickleball racquets (if you want to bring your own) Water bottle to stay hydrated around the 500-acre grounds Bug spray & sunscreen Umbrella (just in case) Camera (the views are stunning) Personal toiletries
