Think of our wedding as an upscale, weekend-long camp getaway! Here is the high-level flow: Friday: Welcome lunch, Survivor Games, and an evening Welcome Dinner at the Pavilion. Saturday: Morning/early afternoon open for camp activities and lunch, followed by our golden-hour ceremony at the Amphitheater, Barn reception, and late-night Treehouse after-party. Sunday: Farewell brunch at the Pavilion before heading home.
Plan for a mix of formal wear and comfortable camp layers: Friday Welcome Dinner: Cocktail attire (bring a warm layer for the evening lake breeze). Saturday Ceremony & Reception: Formal / Black-Tie Optional. Footwear tip: We recommend block heels, wedges, or dressy flats for navigating grass, bluestone, and gravel. Saturday Treehouse After-Party: Cozy loungewear, flannels, sneakers, and warm jackets. Daytime & Camp Activities: Casual layers, athletic wear, and sneakers.
Children are welcome to join us for daytime camp fun throughout the weekend, but our Saturday evening ceremony and reception will be adults-only. We are providing professional on-site babysitting and a kids' party during that time. If you have unique circumstances or infants, please reach out to us directly.
Yes, pets are welcome at Cedar Lakes Estate, but they require advance approval from the venue. Please let us know well ahead of time if you plan to bring your dog so we can register them with the staff.
We are having an "unplugged" ceremony and reception! We want you to be fully present with us, so we kindly ask that all phones and cameras remain put away throughout the ceremony, dinner, and reception dancing. We have hired an incredible professional photo and video team to document every moment, and we will gladly share the full gallery with everyone afterward. (Feel free to snap all the photos you want during Friday's games, daytime camp activities, and the late-night after-party!).

We recommend the Courtyard by Marriott Middletown (about 25–30 minutes away). If you choose to stay off-site, please note that you will be responsible for your own transportation to and from the estate.
Plus-ones are limited to guests explicitly addressed on the invitation envelope due to venue capacity. Your available party seats will appear automatically when you RSVP online.
Yes, complimentary parking is provided. The estate team will greet you at the canteen and assist you with your luggage, before guiding you to your cabin.
Yes. Cell service can occasionally be weak in the mountains, but high-speed Wi-Fi is available across all cabins, cottages, and main event spaces.
You can walk the scenic paths, but staff golf cart shuttles are also available throughout the weekend for luggage, late-night transportation, and mobility assistance.
Late April in the Hudson Valley typically brings daytime highs in the 60s and cooler mountain evenings dipping into the 40s. Bring plenty of warm layers and a coat for outdoor fires.
