Travel to Estes Park
Includes tolls (1 hr, 30 min): For the fastest route to Estes coming from the Denver airport, take Peña Blvd to E-470 (tolls). E-470 will connect you to I-25 N up to Longmont before heading west on CO-66 W toward Estes. Avoid tolls (1 hr, 45 min): You will need to take Peña Blvd to I-70 W, to I-270 W, which then connects you to US-36 W through Boulder and Lyons, and then right into Estes (the drive from Boulder to Estes is quite scenic). Winter in Colorado is still pretty mild in early December, but we recommend using an AWD vehicle with good traction in case of inclement weather.
