Yes, The Boulders at Black Canyon Inn has parking available on site; however, we recommend carpooling to ensure everyone has enough space to park on site for the wedding and reception.

Why does Justin call Dana, “Little Foot”? 🦶🏼

This one is pretty self explanatory—because she has little feet 🦶… A fact known to most family members and friends, including Justin’s father who bought Dana some Vans shoes (pink in color, per Justin’s instructions) for Christmas one year—with which Dana still gets a ton of compliments on. Also, this nickname is in reference to one of Dana and Justin’s childhood movies, Land before Time.

Contrary to Justin’s upbringing, and influence from Dana’s history with and love for soccer, hockey is Justin’s favorite sport 🏒 because it’s the coolest sport in the world.

Kind of. Justin likes to hike along rivers and streams while he fishes. Occasionally, to make Dana happy, Justin will go on real hikes with her, up real hills and real mountains.

Answer
Dana caught her first fish deep sea fishing with Justin in Newport Beach California. It was a Sculpin—we ate it later that day.

No, and she’s still a little rusty on how human anatomy works. But she’s learning with a great little educational model she purchased from Amazon (“for Justin’s nieces and nephew,” she claims).

Justin was a great PE student as the story goes. He had that teammate mentality down like a science and was often asked to be the belayer when his peers climbed up the climbing wall. A very trustworthy young man, indeed. A fun fact, Dana’s dad taught PE for years and never once got to pass out a PE award… but we like to think he would have awarded one to Justin too. 🧗♂️

This was something Justin’s grandfather used to tell him when he would shake his hand, meaning Justin’s cold hands didn’t reflect his warm heart for his family and friends.

It’s hard to say because Dana has a hard time remembering the details of most movies; and whether she’s seen it or not, she is likely to ask several questions along the way… an unappreciated habit Justin has grown to tolerate or hush, depending on the day. 🤐

Wiggle Butt is a nickname for Dana’s dog, Wendell. Wendell can’t make it up to the wedding but is super excited to live with his buddy, Justin, and sleep in his big bed. Wendell is also affectionately called “Wendellton,” Dubbya,” “Velociraptor,” and “Crazy 8.”

Dana and Justin had this drink at Family Jones, a nice distillery and small plate eatery in Denver, and fell in love with it. This drink is called the Colorado Sour, and here is our best copycat attempt at the recipe: 1.5 ounces bourbon 1 ounces of rosemary infused amaretto 3/4 ounce lemon juice, freshly squeezed 1/2 ounce simple syrup 1/2 ounce egg white (optional, but arguably the most important part for a smooth, airy texture 😋) Shake and strain into a glass Garnish with Angostura bitters and a fresh sprig of rosemary
