I’m the blessed beaming bride! I was in Jeff’s atmosphere of bandmates and friendship eons before I heard the symphony he envisioned for us in his vows from our promise ceremony. After a wildly unexpected love story plot, his ever-comforting aura made him not only my rockstar, but my rock. “In sickness and in health” arrived early for us, but I know now we can make it through anything life throws our way, and we have! There’s no one else I’d rather do this life with, and like him, I can’t see a future where there isn’t a Jeff version next to me, waiting for us to choose an adventure and meet him! When “I love you” felt early and confusing, he gave me new words. What was dancing around feelings now blooms into our first wedding dance steps! Now there are never enough words for the overflowing fountain of love I feel for my own real life Prince Charming. I love the quest we’re pursuing together, and I can’t wait for chapter 6! I can do anything as long as I have Jeff! He makes me believe fairytales can be real if we make them so. I can summarize the chapters of our story, but to see the magic in the plot, you must read the whole tale; I invite you, dear guests, to our sacred fairytale, and I promise to be an open book. To Jeff, thanks for teaching me the value of a safe space. I promise to make sure we never lose ours. My wish for us is that our story go on in this life and the next. I’ll always choose us. Eternity can’t be long enough. What is the farthest we can go, my love?

Hello there, this is the Groom here, and I have a little story for you. Once upon a time, on formingbands.com, our story began with a shared love of music. Our paths crossed, and through this connection, we discovered a deeper harmony between us. Sierra, with her adventurous spirit and passion for exploration, has inspired me to see more of this beautiful country. Our journey together has been about more than just travel; it's been about growing as individuals and as a couple. In each other's company, we find the encouragement to strive for better versions of ourselves. Whether we're hiking through scenic trails or sharing quiet moments under the stars, every experience becomes a cherished memory. Her support has given me the confidence to chase my dreams, and her love has become the melody that makes my heart sing. As we stand on the cusp of this next chapter, we look forward to continuing this quest hand in hand, embracing the adventures and challenges that come our way. Together, we are committed to nurturing our bond, celebrating our triumphs, and supporting each other through all of life's beautiful symphonies. To Sierra, here's to a life filled with music, adventure, and endless love. May I continue to face each day with love and patience and a little forehead kiss when I buckle you in. May we work on being a little better every single day. To our guests, family, and wedding party; I hope you are able to join us for our special day.

I’m Sierra's chaotic work bestie turned chaotic life bestie. A friendship started by the smallest of sparks, ignited by a gesture of unexpected kindness in the often frigid Seattle, and one that distance only made grow into a beautiful flame that warms our hearts on the coldest days. Like my home, the Appalachian Mountains, our friendship will weather any storm. I’ll be an ever-present support and shelter as they build a wonderful life together. My chosen family, I can’t wait to see your own flourish. I have watched Sierra go from denial and fighting feelings even in asking me to do a reading that told her to let love in (again & again), to constant gushing on how wonderful and amazing Jeff is. Likewise I have seen the patience and care Jeff shows in helping heal old wounds and growing together, even as the universe has thrown challenges their way. Even in the hardest times I’ve watched their love shine through as a guiding light no matter how dark it may seem. While I have yet to meet Jeff live, he shows nothing but kindness to me and welcomes me as someone important to his person, and seeing how happy he makes her, from Disney to making music, I can’t wait to meet and celebrate the joining of these two. My wish for the couple is for ease, and for community that lifts them up the way they lift each other, and my promise to them is to be part of that however I can be. May every tumble life throws at you only further reveal what a gem the two of you have found in each other.

Hi, I'm always known as Jimmy. I'm Jeff's oldest friend, & have times with him swimming w/ sharks and flying w/ eagles. If the wedding party is like a coffee, I would be the cream, and the cream always rises to the top. I'm a groomsfolk, from the concrete jungle MoVal w/ my wife & family. I love bringing laughs & telling stories. A favorite about Jeff: we became friends in grade 2 when he asked with a straight face if I would be his friend — no other context, out of the clear blue sky. I have many memories w/ him: on & off games, in & out of bands, times w/ friends, hanging out w/ family, even visiting at work. After today I'll have 1 more. I met Roxy through Jeff when we were in our 1st band, all about 19. We had much to learn, but we became family for life. While it was unexpected, when these 2 dated, I messaged them to tell them how overjoyed I was. I told Roxy that Jeff liked her for a long time. These 2 have come a long way to join & I'm glad to have watched them grow into each other. My favorite thing about them is they have the same sense of humor, & when the bride starts joking, Jeff starts & when they laugh, they laugh at the same time, & then look at each other, & smile. That's bliss. I wish you a full life of happiness & joy, that when darkness comes, your love will illuminate others to find their own beacon of light. I wish that you grow old together & when you finally return to the universe, that faith will bring you back together even after all of us are gone.

I live in Vegas but lived in CA for life. The bride & I were inseparable in school, through colleges, partners, jobs, losses, hardships, & hikes. We showed each other formative songs, share a million inside jokes & memories & every time we’re together, no time has passed. We can expect each other at life’s big moments no question. If we isolate for months, we can always message each other & it doesn’t feel out of place. When I met Sierra, we were 16 & I was ditched by my so-called friends. Sierra showed, asked me to go terrorize Target & get icecream between classes as if we were always friends, & from that moment, we were. We put Target employees through it in our youth & spent many days playing in train tracks, making chaotic early life mistakes together. A cementing moment of our friendship was June 2008, the year we graduated, we lost someone we loved very much. It taught us about valuing friends because you never know. We’re fiercely loyal people. That just sticks I guess. We’ve both grown a lot in 19 years as friends. I’m proud of us. My favorite moment between the couple was when I was visiting. Jeff was at work. Sierra and I were catching up, & he facetimed her to say hi on his break. Watching them joke & see how each other's day was going was touching & showed how much they truly care about & love each other. My wish for them is for their lives together to be blessed & timeless, and their love to grow & change together as they do individually. To love & happiness!

Hello. I was born in Southern California, and I was raised in Moreno Valley, California. I went to UCSD for undergrad and University of Florida for graduate school. I currently live in Iowa and work for the FDA as a medical device reviewer. Jeff has been my friend since I was three. I have known him along time and grown up being his friend for a long time. From playing Halo, to Dynasty Warriors 4, and Dungeons and Dragons, we have had many adventures together over the ages. I know he loves Sierra very dearly and she makes him very happy. Life hasn't always been easy for Jeff but I know having Sierra in his life has greatly increased his quality of life. I am happy they found each other and wish them the best in their future life together.

Hi, I’m… Just a city girl! Born and raised in southern cali! I took the midnight plane going to New York in 2022! A beauty in a crowded cafeteria… In 2009, armed with a video camera… Sharing laughs, we rolled the dice, And forged friendship stronger than tungsten… Then a city boy came back into, The beauty's life and swept her off her feet! The mystical and musical adventures they got up to have been tangible to behold!…” I wish the bride and groom many more years of mystical and musical adventures!

Attending in spirit and opening the show via video performance is Mrs. Samantha Grumling, iconic wife of one Mr. Jared Grumling. Everything about you is an absolute inspiration. You are one of the most talented humans on this planet, and yet your love for giving back to the musical community via therapy is only a testament to how much greater the quality of your heart still is. The world has met incredibly few human beings as kind as you. We are immensely lucky to have you in our lives. Whenever you make music, it has an enchantment unmatched in any other environment, but you are as remarkable not just in what you offer but also in who you are. Even in the small things you probably never think about, like just living your life, the daily grind to manifest your dreams, or getting married, watching you makes others believe we can do it too. The day you married your Prince Charming was magickal because not only were you getting to be with the person you love and not only were we elated for you, but all the things that make a wedding seem like merely a lovely dream, too perfect to achieve, became very possible and very real. We are going to miss you terribly on our wedding day as obviously we would have loved for you and your wonderful husband to celebrate the day beside us, but we are also happy to hear you are making the best choice for your own little family. We love you very much, and we cannot wait to share the little bit of magic you’ve prepared for our guests!

Sierra and I met by chance a million years ago. We randomly carpooled together to a work event as we were both baby consultants at the time. I couldn't tell you what the event was about, but she quickly became the sister to my soul. She became Auntie Sierra to my oldest (only child at the time). I was heartbroken at the loss of her physical presence in my life when she moved out of Oregon. These past couple years have brought us closer and during their recent trip "home" to Oregon, I FINALLY met Jeff in person. It had been something like 8 years that Sierra and I had been in the same space together, and it was as if no time had passed at all. I was lucky to witness the care and love that these two have for each other, and their excitement for the future. I am happy that I was able to share in their story, and can't wait for the next chapters!

Many moons ago… Much longer than I care to remember… I was introduced to Jeff through a mutual acquaintance. Though that friendship did not last, Jeff and I have become thick as thieves. Our adventures have spanned through multiple D&D campaigns and multiple musical projects. That, my friends, is where Sierra comes in. Sierra and I did not initially get along due to some miscommunications. However, call it my natural charisma or the willingness to pound on random objects for them, I formed a bond with her as well and thus Frozen Sanctum was born. I have since moved on from that project but I still take what opportunities I can to include these two in my life. “Ever-Entwined” may they be.

I met Sierra at RCC. We both were drawn to the misfits at the back of the cafeteria. The instant I saw her, I was captivated by her quirky humor & bright, welcoming smile. We soon struck up a friendship that I cherish to this day. While life took us in different locations, we stayed connected through the magic of the web. When Sierra moved back & found love with Jeff, I was overjoyed. As her ever-protective friend, I watched their relationship develop with a deep sense of happiness, and admiration. It’s been beautiful to witness how their connection grows, from its first spark of romance to the deep bond they share today. There’s something special about the way Sierra & Jeff interact—a quiet, profound care for one another, evident in every touch, shared glance, and teasing inside joke. It’s a love that feels both effortless and strong, rooted in a deep respect and understanding. As a minister, I’m privileged to witness many couples begin their journeys. But there’s something extraordinary about the bond these two share. It isn’t just built on love; it’s grounded in dedication, resilience, & mutual support. Their foundation is solid. It’s clear that they’re not only partners in life but also true companions on the journey ahead. To have the honor of being part of this special moment for them is a gift I will always treasure. May their union be a foundation for a life of joy, growth, & hope and their journey be full of quests, laughs, & the unshakable strength of their bond!

As he welcomes guests into the ceremonial space, Parker helps open the circle— inviting in harmony, protection, and the blessing of the ancestors. The bride credits me with “even a barn door looks better with a little paint” & “the greatest gifts can’t be wrapped with bows, so we wrap them with words.” My best traits are love, knowing the value of growth, holding dear what’s important, & remembering that time is short & attempted kindness, imperfect or otherwise, is worthy. I also learned it’s ok to ask for help. Susan’s father was my dearly departed Harold, who passed when she was a teen. He taught her to choose a man who treats you like a princess. While I’m well into my wise crone phase & earned the memory to prove it, when I see him, I still find him attractive & I still share Susan’s life & how I knew Sierra would be born on Susan’s birthday so I took her out early. Watching my girls grow was the highlight of my life. I once said there’s nothing like becoming a grandma. Though I predate Jeff, I see him daily. It lights me up. I see their joy & peace & I can’t help but smile. I see Jeff’s care & I know he’ll take care of my favorite granddaughter. Jeff tells me he’s glad to have someone to call grandma again. I enjoyed their engagement & watching Sierra find her dress. I was thrilled to be at their promise ceremony & having successfully navigated “‘til death do us part” myself, I proudly gave my words to this pair in their advice cards. “Respect each other’s POV.” “Always take the time to talk your moms.” “Never keep score in battles.” “The secret to a good marriage is humor and choosing your battles.”

As we knot our cords this day, we appreciate his mark on how our new family's threads interweave.

I was born in Covina, California, and I currently live with the bride and our family in Jurupa Valley, California. I am 55 years young, I have done home loans for the last 30 years of my life, and I love intrepid exploring with my king and having family time - especially game night- in our castle! As MOB, I have the privilege of knowing the bride longer than anyone else on this planet. Sierra and I were both born on April 23rd, with a 20 year difference and are, of course, both tauruses! Go "Bulls?" My first memory of meeting Jeff was some Christmastime several years ago before dating, when he came by to pick up his future bride, Sierra. Over our time together, there have been so many things about Jeff to fall in love with! Most importantly, his abundant warm heart and caring spirit towards Sierra (and towards all) shine brightest. We adore that he has a love of corgis and channels his inner corgi-ness around our home to all of our many smiles and delight. It’s remarkable that they were a "covid" couple, and they started dating during the pandemic's lockdown, when everything was closed. As a result, they honed their skills to an expert level at balancing drive-thru while eating in little Padme. Regarding wishes, mere words cannot convey the depths to which I, the mother of the bride, am glowing with pride and excitement that my little “CC” has found true lifetime happiness with the love of her life, Jeff, and they are about to embark on the next journey together as one.

I was born and raised in Mason, Michigan, a town where faith, family, and community were deeply cherished. Those values became the foundation of my life as I grew, eventually meeting Brett, the love of my life. Together, we moved to Southern California, where we shared 45 beautiful years filled with love, laughter, and blessings. Brett passed into the Lord’s care in July of 2024, yet his love and memory remain a constant source of strength. Today is a moment of immense joy and celebration as my son, Jeff, and his beloved Sierra commit their lives to one another in a handfasting ceremony. I respect and honor Jeff and Sierra’s Pagan path, which beautifully reflects their reverence for nature, love, and the sacredness of life’s cycles. Jeff and Sierra, as you bind your hands, may you also bind your hearts and spirits in love and unity. I pray that God’s grace watches over your union, and may the blessings of the earth, the sky, and the divine guide you always. With love and blessings.

Hi! As we celebrate Sierra & Jeff, I recall wisdom I imparted at their Promise Ceremony: 1) always be prepared 2) never feel bad for doing things that make you happy 3) a lasting relationship is built on trust and love I've gotten to know Jeff well. It’s plain to see how happy these two are. Their bond was forged in the fires of adventure & devotion amongst “unprecedented circumstances,” & they still make each other happy. I'm proud of their resilience & love, especially during the dark ages of COVID, a time that was difficult & confusing in my own life. At the Promise ceremony, I also left date ideas: 1) find new places to visit & explore 2) meet with family & friends 3)really any something to do to have fun Such advice has been invaluable in my relationship with my queen, whose favorite stories about me include the solace & peace of adventures we go on, our most romantic hits, most beautiful things we’ve seen together, the importance of family, & random acts of kindness. I’m my best self when we laugh together. Quoting my past self: my wish for you is to have fun & laugh a lot.

Matthew, beloved husband of the groom’s sister Suzanne, has walked beside this family’s journey for many seasons— since the groom was but a small child, wide-eyed and full of life. As an honored guest in today’s sacred handfasting, Matthew carries the quiet wisdom of years past and the grounding strength of a steady soul. Though not a formal part of the rite, his presence is a blessing— woven into the spiritual tapestry of this day like a protective thread. He stands in the sacred circle of love and kinship, representing the enduring bonds of family, the power of chosen ties, and the ancestral spirit that watches over this union from beyond the veil.

We love her, and will miss her. She is still very important to our family, and we want to make sure we give her her due respects, especially as our pagan beliefs place high importance on animals, especially familiars. Greetings and blessings, everyone! I’m Suzanne Enslow, the honored sibling of today’s extraordinary groom, Jeff. Growing up under the sunlit skies of Southern California, Jeff and I shared a lifetime of cherished memories, laughter, and a bond as enduring as the earth beneath our feet. Though I relocated to New Jersey about seven years ago, the connection between us has remained unbroken—just as the ancient ties that bind family and love. Today, we gather to witness Jeff and Sierra’s sacred handfasting, a beautiful pagan ritual that celebrates their eternal bond. Sierra, with her fiery spirit and fierce protection of Jeff’s gentle and giving heart, is truly his perfect counterpart. Together, they embody the balance of light and shadow, fire and water, creating a union as natural and profound as the cycles of the moon. Jeff and Sierra, I offer my heartfelt blessings as you step into this next chapter of your shared journey. May your handfasting bind you with the strength of the oak, the passion of the flame, the fluidity of water, and the steadfastness of the earth. Here’s to a lifetime of harmony, love, and magic. So mote it be!

Moco is Sierra’s youngest, the Apple of Jeff’s eye, and Anjyuu’s sister. She is 2 years old and lives an active life. She will be walking the aisle for herself and her fallen sister in her holiday dress and we will have an usher lead her down the aisle with treats and toys and maybe catnip bubbles. They will actually be leaving and handing out the flowers for her as she will eat them and shouldn’t. She will also be carrying the rings. A cat of many nicknames, one is “Trouble Muffin.” Now that we have begun to foster the community cats, she is the new big sister. This is our younger familiar.

Soon we witness the union of 2 wonderful souls, my brother Jeff & Sierra. I stand before you filled with immense pride & joy. Growing up with Jeff was an incredible journey. From childhood adventures to moments of laughter & tears, he’s always been my rock, baby brother, & best friend. He’s shown me what it means to be kind, compassionate, & resilient. His unwavering support & love shaped me into the person I am now. Honestly, he was always a character. I remember when he tried to impress everyone with his cooking skills & set off the smoke alarm & when he tried to fix the car & had more parts left over than he started with. In all these hilarious moments, he’s always been there for me, & I wouldn't trade our memories for anything. As you embark on this new chapter with Sierra, I want to remind you of the beautiful bond you share. Marriage is a journey of growth, understanding, & compromise. It’s about cherishing the moments of joy & weathering the storms together. Sierra is an incredible person, & I’m grateful she’s come into our lives. Her love for Jeff is evident in every smile, touch, & word. As you both stand, hand in hand, ready to take on the world, I wish you a life of joy, love, & adventure. May your days be filled with laughter, your nights with warmth, and your hearts with endless love. Remember to always communicate, support each other, & never forget the reasons you fell in love. May your marriage be as beautiful as the love you share. To a lifetime of happiness!
