La Jolla Cove and Park
If you are looking to set up a picnic on some grass and observe the local aquatic wildlife, this destination is for you. The cove is within walking distance of many local restaurants and boutiques. Parking can be tricky - we recommend walking or taking an Uber!
Georges at the Cove
We loved our date at Georges and reccomend you check it out if you are looking for a nice sit down meal and great service. They are a new American style restaurant with a great view overlooking the cove.
Verdes El Ranchero
Try out Verdes El Ranchero if you are looking for some authentic and very yummy Mexican food with a great vibe.
Girard Gourmet
A local bakery with sweets that are to die for! We both have been here on several occasions and always walked out with a smile on our faces.
Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego
A classy museum with a wonderful view and a restaurant attached to it. Stop by and enjoy modern art or a casual stroll in La Jolla.
Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve
Torrey Pines is the neighboring beach just south of La Jolla and just as full of things to explore. We highly recommend the following activities if you decide to travel north: Torrey Pines Trail: Cole grew up hiking these trails and would highly recommend getting some fresh air on this beautiful shoreside cliff. 12600 North Torrey Pines Road, La Jolla, CA 92037.
