I want to make a Pacific Northwest vacation out of this trip! Do you have any reccomendations?

Answer

As an original east-coaster, Sierra has loved living in Washington state since 2011 and Evan has gotten to live in both Oregon (growing up until college!) and then Washington as well. We put together a guide of our favorite places/suggestions, both in Oregon & Washington. This is inclusive of Portland & Seattle, day trips, and longer (2-3 day) excursions. What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The buses from Hood River will be arriving between 4-4:15, and the ceremony starts at 4:30. Please if you are arriving we ask that you arrive by 4:15 so you can park, find the ceremony lawn and get settled.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We are asking that our single friends come as single! If you are in a committed relationship or otherwise engaged/married, your partner is welcome to come just please signal that on your RSVP's.

We will have a few small children at the wedding- please reach out if you are considering bringing your children!

What will the weather be like?

Answer

With a Pacific Northwest summer wedding, we are hoping for a clear sunny day. July brings highs up to 85 degrees, and lows down to 50 degrees. Please bring layers as our reception is outside (though there will be heat lamps if needed!)

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Outdoors! Our whole event, up until the After Party at 10pm, will be outdoors. Please dress accordingly and bring a top layer!

Will Transportation be provided?

Answer

There will be transportation available leaving Hood River around 3pm on our wedding day. The bus will do 2 pickups at 2 hotels across town. Please see details in the Travel section for which hotels the bus will arrive at. The bus will also be leaving Cooper Spur at 8:30pm after dinner, 10pm when the After Party begins, and at 12am (midnight) when the After Party ends. It will drop off at the same 2 Locations.

Question

I won't be able to attend from out of town, will you be live-streaming the ceramony?

Answer

We know our wedding will be far away for so many of those that we love, and we understand many won't be able to make the trip! You will be missed. We will be recording the ceremony and can share it after-the-fact. We will not be livestreaming day of.
