Our favorite pubs: – Taaffes: One of our favorite spots in college with live Irish trad music. – Tigh Coili: Another great spot for Irish trad music. – Tigh Neachtain: One of the oldest pubs in Galway (but the bartenders are kind of mean). – O’Connell’s: Gorgeous pub (featured in some of our engagement photos) with an outdoors(ish) beer garden. – Garavan’s: A crowd-pleaser, great for whiskey. – Barr an Chaladh: Another of our favorites from college. Food & drinks: – Dough Bros: Our favorite pizza spot that we frequented in college. – Kai: Great farm-to-table restaurant. – Daróg Wine Bar: Cozy, great wine. – Supermac’s: Late-night, post-pub food (get the curry cheese chips). – Blackrock Cottage: Located in Salthill, right near the ocean.
