One of our favorite places just on the outskirts of Elk Rapids to get drinks. Their Alma Mater cider is our favorite and based off of apples from Jenna's Alma Mater, MSU.
Short's Brewing Co. Pull Barn Tap Room & Production Brewery (Elk Rapids)
One of the most famous stops in Elk Rapids is at Shorts Brewing facility. Stop in, grab a drink and make sure to grab a bite from one of their food trucks on site.
Happy Camper Coffee Co.
For delicious breakfast and coffee stop in to Happy Camper. Evan's favorite is the breakfast wraps, and Jenna loves the vanilla caramel oat milk latte or a caramel macchiato.
Pearl's New Orleans Kitchen
A top destination spot in Michigan is Pearls. Come check our their authentic New Orleans cooking. They also have a fantastic brunch on Sundays!
Foundry Craft Grillery
Newer to the area, but has quickly become a favorite spot for us. The Foundry has a unique foodie menu mixed with traditional American style and bar food. You will be sure to find something on the menu for everyone. Do not be afraid to try the Grease Monkey, grilled cheese with Mac and cheese and dried cherries, delicious.

Pizza and Specialty Pizzaz Pizza’s are delicious! Stop in for a slice for lunch or grab a whole pizza.

Torch Lake
Make sure to visit the turquoise waters of Torch Lake while you are here, or one of the other 5 amazing lakes within 5 miles of our ceremony cite (Elk Lake, Lake Skegemog, Birch Lake, Bass Lake and Lake Michigan). The water should finally be warm after summer!
