What is the dress code?
Answer
Semi-formal or "snappy" casual. Informal yet stylish, dressier than a basic t-shirt and jeans but not black tie (feel free to wear a suit). Please keep in mind the reception is in a barn that flows outside. It may be chilly at night, we recommend a shawl or light jacket and no stilettos.

What will the weather be like?
Answer
While the ceremony is indoors, the reception is indoor/outdoor. The temperature is expected to be about 60-70 degrees, but the nights get chilly without the warm sun and the possible breeze from Lake Michigan.

Can I bring my kids/a plus one?
Answer
Please refer to your wedding invitation for specific details. As much as we would love to incorporate anyone and everyone in our special day, we have a strict guest list to stay on budget. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. Parents, take the night off and relax!

What should I do if I can't make it?
Answer
You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "no" so we can plan accordingly.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?
Answer
During the ceremony, please keep all mobile devices silenced and put away. We have hired a wonderful photographer to allow our guest to live in the moment with us. During the reception, PLEASE take all the photos and share them on social media (#FinallyTheForgettes) and with us. We are so excited to share an amazing night with everyone.
