Guests! We hope you’ve been well. Our wedding is in less than two weeks, and unfortunately the world continues to live with COVID. Gop and I hope you’re all taking care of yourself and your loved ones – physically, mentally, and emotionally. It’s safe to say we have all been learning how to “roll with the punches”. While we have you here, we want to share some important updated health and safety measures that have come our way. First and foremost: There is a new San Francisco Public Health Department directive for all events. An updated ordinance has been rolled out by the city of San Francisco that took effect Friday, August 20, 2021, which requires all our guests to be able to provide proof of vaccination for indoor events. Please ensure that you bring your vaccination cards with you OR take a photo of it. Second, masks are required throughout the event, except when eating and drinking. But don’t worry – masks are so in right now, and what better way to break out your best dance moves than while wearing your most fashionable face covering? Finally, in response to these needs, we will: – Provide masks and hand sanitizer where possible. – Try to organize the seating chart to provide more space per person, and also keep the number of households per table in mind. If anything we’ve shared poses concerns for you, please reach out to us directly to discuss. We understand this is a challenging time and are happy to answer any questions you might have. Thank you all for your love and support up to this point! Love, Eunice & Gop
In 2011, we were freshmen at UC Berkeley as next-door neighbors. As Astronomy C10 students, we started studying together, even getting competitive with midterm scores. And after many conversations over coffee at Cafe Milano and one too many late-night tater tots... well, we definitely got chubbier, but more so excited to see where this little spark could go.
Gop and I were living apart during the summer of 2020 due to COVID. However, we did monthly trips to see each other and in November, Gop mentioned that we were invited to a birthday party for one of his nieces, so, "Dress nicely." Day of, he drove us to Redondo Beach in Half Moon Bay. While walking on the trail, we were approached by a photographer, who asked to take some shots of us "for practice". She got me posing, and at one point she told me to turn around. When I did, I was met with Gop down on one knee and a big, fat grin. We were ENGAGED, and of course we concluded the day at an incredible restaurant for champagne bubbles and memorable food to celebrate! · · ·
