Colorful cocktail - can include bright colors, patterns, and accessories.
Yes - the wedding day activities (ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception) will all be at the Casino in San Clemente.
There is ample public parking across the street for general guests (more than 300+ spaces.) All public parking is metered between the hours of 9am-10pm daily, at a rate of $1.50/hour payable at the pay machine at the corner of Pico and Descheca (cash or credit card). This means after 10pm, you should be good until the end of the wedding (but you cannot leave your vehicle there overnight!)
The venue is a little over a mile away from the Volare hotel. Some may be close enough to walk, but others can also take the San Clemente Trolleys. They are free to ride, and riders can expect a trolley at each stop about every 15 minutes. Trolley stops are clearly marked with signs. There is otherwise a public bus with a $2 fare that can take you there.
The reception will have a buffet.
Yes - we'll have a vegetarian hors d'oeuvre and a vegetarian option for the reception
There will be an open bar, but feel free to tip the bartenders as you wish.
We'll hop over to nearby dive/sports bars in the area for a night cap.
West Toast Cafe is close to the San Clemente Pier, so folks can park there if needed. There is otherwise some parking in the neighborhood near the cafe on W Paseo de Cristobal, which has a pedestrian overpass that reaches the beach. Keep in mind that this overpass has stairs, so choose parking by the pier if that is an issue for you.
