WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I CAN'T MAKE IT?

We'll miss you! If you're unable to attend our wedding, please inform us as soon as possible so we can make necessary changes. 결혼식에 참석하지 못할 경우에는 최대한 빨리 알려주시기 바랍니다.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The Ceremony will take place indoors in the main Ballroom. During cocktail hour guests can venture outdoors to the Bluestone Terrace or explore the estate. Reception and After Party will happen indoors as well.

Is there parking available near the wedding venue?

Answer

We have plenty of parking available, but please be prepared for a short walk to reach the estate. TBA: We will check with the venue on whether cars can be left overnight if guests would like to take an Uber/taxi home after a few drinks. We are also currently searching for shuttle deals for our guests staying at the hotel.

WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE?

Answer

We kindly request guests arrive in a Formal Attire for our wedding. Please dress in attire suitable for a formal occasion, dark-colored suit or tuxedo, paired with a dress shirt, tie, and dress shoes, floor-length gowns, or sophisticated cocktail dresses. Are there any colors or styles you'd prefer me to wear?

Our wedding colors are sage green and mustard yellow. We'd love to see our guests wearing our wedding colors if they feel inclined, but it's completely optional. Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

Please note that due to limited space, we are unable to accommodate plus ones unless explicitly granted on your invitation. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to sharing this joyous occasion with you.

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Answer

While we'd love to include all children at our wedding, we're only able to extend invitations to children of immediate family, with infants under 12 months being an exception. We appreciate your understanding, and we hope you enjoy a well-deserved night off!

What type of food will be served at your wedding?

Answer

All food will be prepared by the Chef and kitchen at Dover Hall. Below is a preview of what will be served at the wedding. --- Cocktail Hour: Tuna Poke (GF), Creole Crab Cakes, and Beef Medallion Crostini. --- Station-style Dinner: Beet Salad, Seasonal Vegetables, Pan Seared Salmon (GF), Pan Seared Airline Chicken Breast (GF), Seared Beef Tenderloin, and a House-made Gelato (GF).

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, we will be hosting an open bar with both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options for the first couple hours of the reception followed by a cash bar for the remainder of the evening.

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?

Answer

Your presence is the is the greatest gift of all, however, if you're looking for wedding gift ideas, we've registered here for items to help us set up our new home in New York. Gifts purchased through our registry will be delivered to Esther's family home in Virginia.

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Answer

We kindly ask that you join us in an 'unplugged ceremony,' where we invite you to be fully present in the moment by refraining from using phones or cameras. Our professional photographers will be capturing all the special moments during our ceremony, and we look forward to sharing those memories with you. -- Following the ceremony, please feel free to take as many photos and videos as you'd like! We also encourage our guests to explore and take photos around the estate.
