We had a blast at this insane collection of bunny memorabilia, complete with wandering friendly cats and celebrity autograph wall!
We had a fun trip here when it was 110 degrees. We hung out with an orangutan while we sweated profusely!
Are you a Rebel without a Cause? Go see the spot where that was filmed, check out the view of LA and stay gold, Ponyboy. (Yes, we know that's the wrong movie quote.)
This is an easy one mile hike in a shady canyon full of trees that ends in a little waterfall!
Jayk shot his first short film here! This is a longer, more varied hike through watery woods, then up a dry rock mountain side, then down to a medium-small waterfall... That you can climb to go even further in! An old fave of Jayk's.
One of Jayk's favorite restaurants, the lovebirds had dates here! Jayk even wrote a rap song about his favorite Millie's meal, The Devil's Mess.
One of Erin's absolute faves, this modern Italian eatery is in the trendy Arts District neighborhood near downtown and features an incredible seasonal menu, from bone marrow to a whole grilled branzino and creative wood-fired pizzas. Yums.
Erin and Jayk's neighborhood favorite!! The grits are amazing, as is the pie. Pork chops are to die for, as is the housemade lemonade and the butternut squash donuts!!
Don't wanna settle for just one set of awesome gardens (The Arboretum) while you're here? Check out these gorgeous gardens and museum that has an original Gutenberg Bible!
A one-of-a-kind historic untruth, it's hard to tell what's real and what's not in this museum and it kind of doesn't matter. A Jayk fave, this place features everything from art on the head of a pin to a bat caught flying through a tree using supernatural sonar. See Noah's ark and sip tea with pigeons.
Jayk and Erin had several pandemic dates here back before the regular cinema opened back up. We recommend Clyde's Hot Chicken for dinner to eat in the car!
Jayk and Erin had their first kiss at this park in Silverlake! While you're in the area, take a ride up to the Silverlake Reservoir, go up the Music Box Steps, and stop in front of the Elliott Smith wall at 4330 Sunset Blvd. to get a taste of Jayk and Erin's beloved neighborhood where they both lived separately for 15 years before moving in together in Altadena.
