Things To Do

National WWI Museum and Memorial

2 Memorial Drive, Kansas City, MO 64108
, (816) 888-8100

Excellent museum! We recommend going to the top of Liberty Memorial Tower for the absolute best view of the city.

The Big Rip Brewing Company

216 East 9th Avenue, North Kansas City, MO 64116
, (816) 866-0747

This is where we had our first date! And where we got engaged! We recommend the Velvet Elvis. It’s not on the menu but you won’t be sad you ordered it. We also recommend ordering some BBQ from the kiosk. The awesome folks at Hawg Jaw will bring it over to you, no need to leave your beer lonely.

Succotash

2601 Holmes Street, Kansas City, MO 64108
, (816) 421-2807

This is our favorite breakfast/brunch spot

Casual Animal Brewing Co

1725 McGee Street, Kansas City, MO 64108
, (816) 214-5388

Located in the Crossroads neighborhood, this is our favorite brewery south of the river. There are many other breweries and great restaurants in this area of town so we also recommend putting on some comfortable shoes and exploring this part of town while you’re visiting.

City Market

20 East 5th Street, Kansas City, MO 64106
, (816) 842-1271

Wonderful way to spend a weekend morning. We highly recommend the savory beignets at Beignet and the baklava stand. Also look for the guy who sells the enormous garlic!

Hawg Jaw Que & Brew

900 Swift Street, North Kansas City, Missouri 64116
, +1 816-741-4294
For all the days along the way
