Bride
Originally from Muskegon MI, Erin is a neuropsychologist practicing in the Houston area. She is an avid runner, cook, horror fan, and dog mom. She is always looking for new adventures and enjoys traveling to places where she can hike. Sometimes she likes to take others on a "moderate" hike and then say "oopsie" when the hike is actually "very difficult." She cannot wait to embark on the greatest adventure of all with Guillaume.
Guillaume
Groom
Originally from Herndon Virginia, Guillaume is a lifelong band nerd who moved to Texas to work with high level color guard programs. After just two dates, Guillaume knew Erin was a keeper. Intelligent, kind, funny, adventurous, patient, and supportive, she is everything Guillaume could hope for. Together they have begun to build a wonderful life in Houston and made some fantastic memories along the way.
Sarah
Bridesmaid
Sarah lives in Los Angeles, CA and is a graphic designer working in TV and film production. Erin and Sarah met freshman year at MSU, after being placed in the same residence hall, and just a few doors away. After they were roommates all through college, they lived together again in Detroit while Erin was in graduate school and before Sarah moved to California in 2010. They share many, many, MANY memories, from college and beyond, and a love for bacon (though Erin’s is much deeper, as she once won a Detroit-wide bacon themed scavenger hunt), Grey’s Anatomy, and Zoe - Erin and Guillaume’s cat whom Erin brought home one day during their junior year of undergrad.
Nicki

A native of Herndon Virginia, Nicki has known Giz for about 20 years now and much of that time together was spent either marching or coaching color guard. She is currently in school studying social media marketing and is on track to graduate with honors in the Spring, and her ultimate goal is to get into the business side of the music industry. Nicki's post graduation plans include moving to LA or Austin for work, the latter would be nice because she'd be relatively close to her best friend again as well as some other good friends that have relocated to Texas. She's so glad that Erin and Giz found each other and that they're happy!
Alicja
Bridesmaid
Erin and Alicja grew up in the same town in Michigan but did not meet until they went to MSU. They were paired as roommates their first semester and have been great friends ever since. They lived together, along with Jessie, Sarah and Jessica, throughout undergrad. Alicja now lives in Littleton, CO with her boyfriend, Brian, and their cat, Mia. She is a Nurse Manager at St. Joseph's Hospital in Denver and loves working with her team taking care of little babies. In her free time she enjoys spending time in the mountains, in the summer hiking and in the winter skiing. Alicja's favorite memory with Erin is when she helped her, and cat Zoe, move from Florida to Houston in an absolutely packed and beloved red Corolla.
Tykeem
Groomsman
In 2008, Tykeem met Guillaume in Mount Vernon, Virginia. In Tykeem’s senior year, Gizmo taught the color guard that he was in. That Spring, he recruited Ty for a new guard named Impact and their friendship began. Over hot wings, color guard, and never ending car rides, Gizmo served as a great mentor and role model for Ty. So much so, that Ty joined the Madison Scouts Drum Corps that Gizmo also marched. Over time their friendship grew, and Ty now considers Gizmo like a brother. Continuing in his much older brother’s footsteps, Ty moved back to Texas and was introduced to Erin at their lovely abode in Houston. Intelligent, kind, and genuine, it’s no question that Erin is the perfect match for him. Tykeem is elated to witness two incredible people join as one on the wedding day to remember!
Jessie
Bridesmaid
Jessie lives on a lake outside of Minneapolis, MN with her husband, Mark, and their dogs, Marnie and George. Jessie now works as a product engineer for Target HQ where she can be seen playing with toys and putting together kids crafts to make sure they work properly. When not working, she tries to be outside as much as possible with her husband, pups, and friends. She has known Erin for 17 years, and Erin was also a bridesmaid in Jessie's wedding. Erin and Jessie met at the beginning of undergrad at MSU and were roommates until Erin moved to Detroit for grad school. Jessie reminisces about being Erin's sous chef, where she learned how to make home-cooked meals instead of the typical college from a box method of cooking. Jessie is so excited to come to Texas to celebrate Erin and Guillaume!
Tom
Groomsman
Tom is the younger (giant) brother of Erin. He resides in Michigan with his wife Abby, their (also giant) dog Lando and their cat Nora. From the early years when Erin taught Tom colors, shapes and how to count, to their adult years trying to help each other repair their homes via text message while living 1000 miles apart, they have learned a lot from each other. Perhaps most importantly, how lucky they are to have such an awesome sibling. Tom is honored to be in the wedding party, and excited to welcome one more awesome sibling, Guillaume, to the family.
Katie

Katie and Erin met when Petya (another bridesmaid) invited them both to the Houston Ballet Winter Showcase about 5 years ago, and they became fast friends. She loves Erin’s bubbly personality and affinity for all things spooky. When not studying for grad school, she’s all about baking, books, and that bibbidi-bobbidi-boo Disney life. Together with her dashing husband and groomsman, Marshall, they are so excited to be celebrating Erin and Guillaume!
Marshall

Marshall is married to the beautiful bridesmaid, Katie, and he met the happy couple through her. Marshall and Guillaume bonded over a love of whiskey, smoked meats, and the Nintendo Switch. On any given day, he can be found on the golf course, his first love. He is a proud Texan who volunteers for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo every year, where he proudly bested carnival games to win Erin a sparkly stuffed llama!
Petya

A Bulgarian transplant, who is extremely happy to call the US home, Petya struck up a friendship with Erin during neuropsychology internship in Birmingham, Alabama and the rest is history. She is married to Luis (groomsman) and just became a mom to a little girl. Likes include dancing, cake, the beach, experimenting with cooking interesting dishes, and hiking. Dislikes include deadlines and driving on H-town freeways.
Luis

Originally from Portugal, Luis and his wife Petya are close friends of Erin and Guillaume. Luis and Guillaume have a tendency to take a deep dive into something extremely nerdy while Petya and Erin look on in bewilderment. Luis and Petya have recently welcomed a beautiful baby girl into the world, and Erin cannot wait to spoil her!
Trish
Bridesmaid
Trish is from Texas. You can find her reading non-fiction, watching creature features, or wearing giant donuts as sombreros. She is quite skilled at making her friends laugh by stating something ridiculous yet incredibly observant. She is most proud of the relationship she has built with her spouse, Annie (Groomswoman). She met the couple through Annie, and quickly developed a close friendship with Erin through morning jogs around the bayou and planning multiple podcasts, which will make them famous one day. She loves how sweet Erin and Guillaume are, and how comfortable they make her feel when spending time together.

Annie and Erin met at work. She was immediately drawn to her light-hearted, tomboyish playfulness. They're both country gals who appreciate a hard days work, love shootin' and fishin', and are thrilled to be afraid - truly a sister. They also share a birthday! Annie cherishes their annual birthday dates to the movies for scary flicks. Soon, Erin found love in Guillaume, and Annie gained another precious family member. Erin and Guillaume offer their hearts and intelligence to their friendship, as well as fierce loyalty. Likewise, Annie can't wait for them to grow their family just the same ❤
Jess Keck
Bridesmaid/Dog Whisperer
Jess lives in Oakland, CA with her wife, Jen, who is expecting their first child in October. They also have a black lab, Maple, who has trained Jess well for managing Norman. She works as a technology manager at an art college where she’s usually found fixing stuff. In her spare time Jess likes to hike, try new microbrews, and take Maple on adventures. She met Erin during their freshman year at Michigan State, where they were roommates. One of Jess’s favorite memories of Erin was when she re-tiled and caulked the bathroom in their first off campus house - fixer upper style. Jess can’t wait to be a part of Erin and Guillaume’s wedding!
Norman
Dog of Honor
The baby of the house and perennial center of attention, Erin and Guillaume adopted Norman in 2016 and he has kept them busy ever since. He is a lover of back scratches and bacon, hater of vacuum cleaners and baths, and impervious to cacti. Norman loves to sun himself, play tug of war, snuggle, and bark at the mailman. He misses his sister Zoe but hopes that mom and dad will get him a younger sibling soon. Fur or no fur, he's not picky. Norman is overjoyed to see his human parents finally get hitched!
Shirley
Mother of the Bride
The baby of the family, Shirley was born in Kalamazoo MI. She has been a nurse for her whole career and loves it. Her other loves are the beach, reading, yoga, classical music, and most of all, being a mother. Erin was a beautiful baby, full head of black hair, and the only little girl in the nursery. She was exceptional from that moment on. Shirley would like to believe that she raised her children well, but in truth they raised her and taught her far more than she could have ever thought possible. When Erin’s stepdad came into their lives Shirley knew all would be okay. Dan was not afraid to ride the roller coaster and would ride every ride with Erin at the Carnival(as Shirley is not a ride person).
Elisabeth
Mother of the Groom
Originally from Toulon, Elisabeth (Babette) worked for city hall and was assigned to receive the USS Puget Sound, and a young lieutenant Eek was assigned to meet with the local leadership. Within a year the two were married and a few years later they started a family in Virginia. A dedicated wife, mother, and educator, Elisabeth is overjoyed to see her son marry a woman as wonderful as Erin. With her blessing, Guillaume proposed to Erin with the same ring his father used to propose to Elisabeth.
Bob
Father of the Bride
Robert (Bob) Holcomb was born in Presque Isle ME to Daniel and Avis Holcomb, and has two brothers, Brent and Rich. He was an Air Force brat that attended 13 different schools before graduating from high school in North Muskegon MI. A graduate of Central Michigan University with a degree in broadcasting, Bob worked as a producer and director for the Eastern Educational Network developing television programs for PBS. In 2002, he married Mary Ann Le Roux. Bob has worked at Grand Valley State University as a Supervisor in the IT Department for 28 years, but his passion is officiating football. He has fond memories of Erin reenacting the opening scene from her favorite movie Adventures in Babysitting, including the "fake" walk down the aisle. He can't wait to take that walk together.
Konrad
Officiant
Konrad is the older of Guillaume’s two uncles. Born at the University of Kansas and raised by loving parents with a Fine Arts background. After a 20 year restaurant career, Konrad returned to school earning a BFA in photography from the University of Oklahoma. These days Konrad is very involved in arts education, as well of the owner operator of a photography and custom framing business. He has taught for The Oklahoma Arts Institute for over thirty years and many other organizations. Konrad also has multiple online courses with LinkedIn Learning. But the best thing about Konrad is his wonderful wife Darra, a newly retired elementary educator of 25 years, and their children Courtney, Justin and Marianna Lund, and granddaughter Madelyn. They all share a love of Santa Fe and Sooner Football.
Dan
Step-Father of the Bride
Born in Muskegon Michigan, Dan played football, baseball, and basketball in high school. Dan then boxed in the Golden Gloves in Michigan featherweight and boxed professionally as a featherweight. He worked at Mercy Hospital for 46 years, and retired last year. Dan has been enjoying his retirement by fishing and hunting.
Mary Ann
Step-Mother of the Bride
Mary Ann Holcomb was born and raised in Muskegon, MI. She has two brothers, Don and Paul, and one sister, Therese. She graduated from Muskegon Catholic Central High School and Grand Valley State University with a BA in English. She is retired from Grand Valley State University having served as an administrative assistant for 20 years.
