Beverly St. is closed to cars; Shop local businesses and eat outside. -Visit the Farmer's Market on Saturday morning at The Wharf from 7am to Noon (street parking, parking lots, and Johnson Street Garage are free on the weekends) -For a great view of the city, find Sears Hill Bridge near the Amtrak station -Gypsy Hill Park - 1.35-mile loop; duck pond and train rides near the main entrance

- Blue Ridge Tunnel - A mile long walk through an old train tunnel, bring a flashlight! - Humpback Rocks - Short but steep hike; local favorite - Saint Mary's Falls - St. Mary's Wilderness Hike (Multiple swimming holes) - Blue Ridge Parkway - Scenic drive through the Blue Ridge Mountains, many hiking options
