Is there a dress code?

Answer

We kindly request semi-formal attire for our wedding ceremony and reception. For the welcome party, there is no dress code. Come as you are! The welcome party, ceremony, and cocktail hour will be outside, weather permitting.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is an abundance of parking at the venue. The entrance to the property is at 1171 Hermitage Road, Staunton, VA (some search engines may show Waynesboro, VA instead of Staunton). The paved entrance leads to a gravel driveway and a large flat field for parking.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, shuttles will be provided to and from the recommended hotels (The Blackburn Inn, Tru by Hilton, Fairfield Inn & Suites, and Hotel 24) and Red August Farm on Saturday evening. The shuttles are school buses (no AC!) and are entirely optional. Shuttle schedule to come.
