Travel Note
Most hotels in Seattle are downtown which is far (by city standards) from where we are tying the knot. However, common rideshare companies such as Lyft operate in the Seattle area and will be able to get you where you need to go. Our recommendation is to go with and Airbnb in the Ravenna, Wedgewood, or Roosevelt neighborhoods. These areas are all very close to where we are getting married and could be within walking distance (if you aren't afraid of hills or rain....) or a short drive. Due to the limited number of guests coming from out of town, there is no real need to rent a car as Tommy and Erin will likely be available to shuttle folks around the city as needed.
Travel Note
The Seattle airport connects nicely through a train system locally called the "light-rail" that will take you to many locations in Seattle along a North-South route. It is inexpensive and quite safe during the daytime. If you are traveling alone and arriving in Seattle in the early morning or late evening, it is not advised that you take this train. If possible, please inform Erin or Tommy about your travel plans so that they can best assist and advise you on how to enter the city from SeaTac (Seattle/Tacoma International Airport).
