Flying to Portugal

You have many options when flying to Portugal for our wedding. The closest airport to the Algarve is Faro (FAO). You may fly into Lisbon (LIS) and take a very short flight or take the train/bus to the Algarve. Other options include flying to Barcelona, London, or Paris (among others) prior to flying to Portugal. Please contact Nick or Erika regarding travel as we have many suggestions!

TAP Air Portugal

We recommend flying TAP directly from NYC, Miami, or San Francisco. There are direct flights to Lisbon. There are also flights into Faro with a short layover in Lisbon.

Iberia Airlines

It seems that the most cost-effective option from Miami is this airline with a connection in Spain. Please check it out if you will be flying out of Miami.

Apartamentos Janelas do Mar

Erika's mother and step-father own this 3-star hotel in Albufeira (pictured at top of page). These are 1 bedroom apartment-style hotels with kitchens (sleeps up to 4). They are basic rooms with no extra amenities, but very clean and you will be close to all the wedding action. Rate: € 90 Euro/night including tax. They do have a very limited amount of 2 bedroom rooms that sleep 6/have balconies - please contact us directly for these rooms. Please complete the form above if you plan to stay at Janelas - please do NOT book on your own. The property includes two pools, outside recreation activities, cafe and bar.

W Algarve Hotel & Residences

The W is within walking distance to the Reception and it is brand new and opening in April 2022. The block requires a 2-night minimum, but the discount rate can be applied for any two nights between 9/11-9/17 (checking out Sunday 9/18). Rate: € 320 Euro/night (one guest), € 335 Euro/night (couple/two guests) which includes tax, daily buffet breakfast, and WiFi. Reservations can be canceled without charges until July 11, 2022. From July 12 until August 11, 2022: 50% cancellation charges will apply. After August 12: 100% cancellation charges will apply. The bride and groom plan to spend Friday and Saturday nights at the W, but earlier in the week, we will be at Janelas Do Mar!

Shuttles to and from Ceremony/Reception

There will be transportation arranged for all guests from Janelas Do Mar to and from Evaristo for the Ceremony and on a rolling basis once you are ready to leave the reception. There are also Ubers, Taxis, etc if you prefer to leave at a different time. Please do not plan to drive as there is limited parking.
