Where is this picture from?

This is a film photo our friend took of us during a trip in 2018 to Squamish, British Columbia. The waterfall is at the base of Stawamus Chief Provincial Park. We hiked to the top of the Chief multiple days in a row for the Highline Festival—it was August, and the heat was intense. To cool off, we’d go skinny dipping in a pool beneath the waterfall before and after the 2-mile hike (~2,000 vertical feet). It was pure magic.

We chose this photo for a few reasons—it captures some of the things we love most: being close to nature, seeking adventure, and embracing a little discomfort along the way. More than that, it’s a reminder that when you strip everything else away, what truly matters is making memories with the person you love and holding on to them. And, quite simply, this is the coolest picture we have of the two of us!
