Mother of the Bride
Yes, Whit's Mom is not only Mother of the Bride, but also her Matron of Honor. Like Whit's grandmother, Ginger Krabbenhoft, Jen will be standing by her, as she always has, as Matron of Honor, while she takes her vows. The decision was an easy one, as Jen and Whit have had a bond as close as sisters, with the strength and respect as God could only dream for mother and daughter.
Father of the Bride
Brian has always been the opitomy of the perfect father; or should I say, the perfect father for Whit. Since Whit was born, Brian has always taken his role as "dad" as the biggest and most important role in his life; and Whit has never known anything but love and support. Through his endless humor, life lessons, discipline, and love; Brian has taught Whit to become the person she is. Like her mother, Brian has become one of the biggest inspirations in her life; and without his guidance, support and love, she would not be the person she is today. Whit may have the looks of her mother, but ask anyone, her personality and care-free compassion and humor,; come from her daddy.
Mother of the Groom
Maureen is the heart beat of the Anderson family. Eric and Maureen have always been close - typical Mama’s boy. Eric and Maureen have enjoyed numerous adventures from running the Marine Corp. 10k marathon to ski trips in Park City, UT. Eric definitely gets his adventurous and fun-loving character from Maureen.
Father of the Groom
Big Eric or Eric Sir has always been a mentor and motivational figure in Little E’s life. Like Little E, Eric played football in college and always strives to better himself and his drive for success in life. Both Eric’s have a strong work ethic and endless ambition for a well-balanced life. Big E has always been an inspirational force in Little E’s life.
Best Man
From the moment I met Eric in 2008, I thought to myself, who the hell is this guy and how do I not see him again. Eric lived in a townhouse in the same block as good friends of mine from JMU, so it wasn’t going to be easy. Little did I know, that we would soon become lifetime friends. I thought that getting stupid ideas out of my system was supposed to end with college, until I begun hanging out with Eric on a frequent basis, and they became the norm. The countless shenanigans with Eric has been nothing short of a wild ride, and I’m sure more to come. It’s great for him to find some balance in his life, with an amazing woman like Whit. Eric’s personality is larger than his already large stature, and his desire to go out of his way for his friends is unparalleled.
Best Man
Ken and Eric met not through one monumental event, but rather a series a hangouts with mutual friends back in 2008. I guess you could say that it was a courtship consisting of elevator rides, flag football, 2x4s, game-changing concoctions, fishing trips that had no fish, wrestling bee hives, replacing toilets, family Easters, off-roading, butt ugly fireworks, human toboggan slip n' slides, and long distance travel without any luggage. Ken has also developed a strong friendship over the past couple of years with Eric's better half, Whitney. Frankly, she's cooler than him but Eric is still #1.
Matron of Honor
Not just a sister-in-law. Emily has become such a special person in Whit's life over the years. Since Kirk and Emily started dating back in 2008 (or back while Kirk, brother of Bride and Emily were at IUP), Emily has been a strong, kind, and loving member of the Du Plessis family. She has been there more than a sister through all those years and a huge inspiration to Whit. Emily's heart and gentleness has always been a shining light in our family and like Whit was at her wedding; Emily will be standing close by to witness our wedding.
Groomsman
Brother to the Bride. Since Whit was born, she and Kirk have always been very close for siblings (16 months apart). From playing sports together throughout childhood to always sharing every special moment in their lives. Even though they have polar opposite personalities; the foundation of who they are and where they came from, has never changed. Family, faith, friends, love, and yes; determination! From building forts in Colorado to now; Kirk and Whit will always be there together sharing memorable moments such as these.
Bridesmaid
Kristyn brings the yinz to Eric's yang. She is Eric's younger sister. Kristyn will be married on August 17, 2019 in Boston, MA to Yigit Acar. She and Eric have always had a strong bond, even though they are 6 years a part. Kristyn travels between her home in Boston to DC and used to stay with Eric when he lived in Arlington.

Well, there are so many stories and memories with Alex and Whit. Just how Whit found Eric online, so did Alex and Whit... through a roommate finder, when they both were transferring to George Mason University to finish undergrad in 2008. After two years at the HAWK house, their friendship continued beyond college life, through late night drives singing Miley Cyrus "The Climb" to Lake Anna trips to her wedding and even being in the waiting room for the birth of her gorgeous daughter, Camdyn. There has never been a moment, even with busy schedules that Alex and Whit have not been there for one another. Just like Whit, Alex did not need to be asked to be her bridesmaid, it was a given.

It was an uncharacteristically warm February day. I couldn't put my finger on it, but I had a feeling that my life was going to change one way or another that day. I was not prepared for the Nor'easter that is Eric Anderson! I was more in awe with the utter confidence that one man possessed, without understanding why or what he was confident about. Walking around like he owned the world and unashamed about it. A man that was smiling from the moment you meet him... and to this day has never lost that smile or approachable attitude. From that day forward I have been blessed with gift of friendship by Eric Anderson. A man who has been there at the lowest, only to help lift you to your highest. Who doesn't hesitate to be there at a moment in need, or call to just say Hi!

When Whit moved to Bluemont her junior year, she met Sara, who was working at her family's business at Great Country Farms. It wasn't until college in 2007, when Whit moved back from Alabama that Sara and Whit's friendship grew. They had worked together at Bluemont Vineyard and even after college in their first jobs at Tier10 Marketing. No matter where we are, what we are doing, or who we are with; Sara and Whit take in all that life and friendship has to offer and make the best of creating endless memories. Now it is Sara's turn to be Whit's bridesmaid.

Whether it’s storming the beaches of Stuart St making sure all of our friends got home safe, to sliding down slides, to dialing in the 7 iron from the living room, we have had a lot of fun throughout the years. Eric and I met roughly 10 years ago and while I don’t think either of us remembers the exact day or time, it was an instant bond. You can sum up our relationship in 3 words, Thoughtful, Energetic and Moronic. There hasn’t been a time in these last 10 years that he hasn’t been there, from the fun to the not so fun. Eric is a loyal man and it is an honor to to stand next to you on your big day. Whit, you are a great woman and we all couldn’t be happier that Eric found you. How in the hell he got you to go out with him, we will never know but thanks for saying yes.

Amanda and Whit met through Young Catholic Professionals group, while visiting Bluemont Vineyard. Naturally, their similarities and passions for Colorado, Denver Broncos, and their strength in their faith brought their friendship to an unimaginable bond. Their friendship is not based on a matter of time, but appreciation for one another and passion for our faith. Amanda will also be getting married in 2019 and both Whit and Amanda will be supporting one another at the alter to the men of their dreams.

One of the best things Whit took from her time at Tier10 Marketing was her friendship with Tessa. It is a fact that Tessa and Whit's friendship grew stronger after they worked together and maybe for the best, as they were both determined business professionals, and were known to butt heads at work. Tessa and Whit share so many memories and the best part is their similarities to always find fun in no matter what they are doing. Tessa is always up for whatever; having a girls night or just going out in Arlington until the bar closes, when the intention was to only go out for one drink. Tessa has always been Whit's partner in crime for just enjoying friendship and taking in amazing memories.

Born in New York, raised in Tampa, FL. Amateur bull rider and sponsored synchronized swimmer. Voted “not the worst guy to be around” in 2015 & 2017. Nominated as “most likely to be responsible for a zombie apocalypse” in high school. Father to Kaden and Abigail, ages 5 and 7 respectively. Besides 7-11 hot dogs, they are my pride and joy. I was introduced to Eric in May 2017 at a dinner that was being hosted Whitney. It was branded as a “family” dinner which is exactly what it felt like. My favorite memory of Eric involves my kiddos. After purchasing his truck he took Kaden and Abby for a ride and even let them drive. Since that day, he was no longer Uncle Eric. According to Abby and Kaden, he is now and will forever be Monster Truck Eric.

This Aussie came at a transitional period in Whit's life and meeting "Stokey-Pokey" in a softball league was the most rewarding part of their sports league. Being the new girls on the team helped them to draw close to one another and went beyond the baseball field. Whenever they are together, laughter and love is never limited, as well as endless hugs and affection. Stokes has definitely become Whit's "good-eye mite."

Shannon and Eric met at a group meeting and became fast friends. Shannon is blessed with four beautiful and rambunctious children and a gorgeous and loving wife, Erin. Not only did Shannon and Eric find a friendship together, but so did Whit with Erin and for that matter the whole family. Eric and Whit are known to spend long nights at the King house and attending all their family functions and celebrations. We are so blessed to be a part of their family and equally a part of ours.

It all started on the National Mall playing flag football. Then Peacock (recently married in September 2019) and Whit were a part of an adult football league and also went on to being roommates. For almost 2 years, Peacock and Whit shared not only a beautiful home in Arlington, but also a loving home for their dogs Lucy (Whit's) and Biscuit (Peacock's). By far, it was the best 2 years of growing as individuals and as friends. Most roommates find it difficult to keep a friendship beyond living together, but Peacock and Whit have stayed close past their move and both Eric and Whit were a part of Laura and Kevin’s wedding on September 7th.

Whit’s best friend, Alex Zajac’s daughter. Whit was in the waiting room when Camdyn was born and along with Molly and Anna, they will make all guests “aw” at their beauty and cuteness!
