Flight

Albuquerque International Sunport (ABQ)

The Albuquerque airport may offer more affordable airfare, and it is between 45 minutes to an hour drive to Santa Fe, NM. There's a train you can take (the Railroad Runner) into Santa Fe, but you will need transportation to/from the train station. You can also perhaps do a pool Uber if enough people arrive around the same time. Additionally, car rentals are available at this airport (more on this below).

Santa Fe Regional Airport (SAF)

Santa Fe airport is right in Santa Fe and only 12 minutes from the Best Western Inn if you decide to stay at that hotel. It is also only 20-25 minutes from Downtown Santa Fe. This option is closer, but airfare may be a bit more pricey.

Rental Car

Car Rental Recommended

If you are traveling out of state we recommend that you consider renting a car. This is not a requirement by any means, just an option! Santa Fe does not have a fully established public transportation system and Ubers/Lyfts can take up to 20 minutes or longer to get from one part of Santa Fe to the next (and Santa Fe is not that big!). Both airports offer rental car options if this is a viable option for you!
