Driving up Hyde park is always beautiful and fun. It is a great place to do hikes in the woods and look up at the summer Aspens!

Santa Fe Plaza (Downtown)

Santa Fe Plaza is full of culture, good food, amazing art and great bars. You can walk into pretty much any gallery and look at the art for free! Places/museums to check out: *New Mexico Museum of Art *Mew Mexico History Museum *Georgia O'Keeffe Museum *Five & Dime (known for their famous frito pies) *Doodlet's Food and drinks are also great at some of these places. More food recommendations below.

New Mexico State Capitol/The Roundhouse

490 Old Santa Fe Trail, Santa Fe, NM 87501

Santa Fe is the oldest capital city in the US. You are always welcome to go into the Roundhouse for free to view the Capitol Art Collection and the Governor's Gallery. You can also learn about the political history of New Mexico through their guided tours.

Canyon Road

Canyon Road, Santa Fe, NM

Just a bit ways out of Downtown Santa Fe (or La Plaza) is Canyon Road. A road dedicated to many artists in Santa Fe. Similar to the galleries in La Plaza, you can walk into most of these galleries for free and enter a mini museum of art. Highly recommend taking a stroll down this road.

La Cieneguilla Petroglyphs Trailhead

The petroglyphs are an amazing place to hike!! You get to see some real cool petroglyphs which paint a story (literally) of Santa Fe History.

Plaza Cafe Downtown

Plaza Cafe has two locations (other location below) and they are both so delicious!! We especially recommend their brunch, but you can also have some dinner here if you'd like!

Del Charro

Very great food and (especially) drinks if you want to stop by after walking around downtown.

Plaza Cafe Southside

As stated, we highly recommend brunch here! The southside location may provide you with better parking spots for brunch time. Also, both locations have great cocktails!

El Chile Toreado

Tacos here are SO GOOD!!! It is a MUST if you are in Santa Fe and want some good tacos. It's sort of tucked away, but if you're heading to La Plaza it's a good place to stop or even on your way back from downtown.

Los Potrillos Santa Fe

If you are looking for some good Mexican food, this is the place to go! They serve a variety of Mexican dishes and are very delicious.

Weck's Breakfast Lunch

This is a GREAT and AFFORDABLE brunch spot! They are authentically New Mexican and serve a variety of delicious dishes. Highly recommend and their prices are right!

The Ranch House

They have a total of three location. This is another great place for some good new mexican fare and very affordable! I have only tried the Pantry on Cerrillos Road, but I've heard great things about the other two.
