Our love story began in late August 2018. Although we had been in several cities at the exact same time, it wasn’t until we both lived in Atlanta that we actually met. We initially 'met' on Bumble, and after some banter back and forth, we decided to meet up at Monday Night Garage Brewery to have drinks for our first date. We talked for hours and nearly closed the place down, but Nicole’s puppy was only 10 weeks old and potty training duties called! During our first few dates, we learned that we are equally goofy, and that we share a lot of the same interests, values, life goals, wine preferences, and pet obsessions. Two weeks after we met, we went to our first wedding together to celebrate our friends, Kyle & Mallory. We danced the night away...and we haven't stopped dancing ever since.

Six months after our first date, we said “I love you” while watching the Auburn-UVa college basketball game. Our respective alma maters played each other during March Madness Final Four. We won't say who won - all we know is that true love prevailed. On November 6, 2021, Eric asked "Will you marry me?" at Wolf Mountain Vineyards in northern Georgia, and we celebrated afterwards with family and friends. And now, we can’t wait to say “I do” as we become husband and wife.

We are so grateful to have found each other - a bond that continues to strengthen as we grow together, laugh every day, and challenge each other to be better people. Our relationship is further strengthened by the wonderful family members and friends in our lives.
