What is the dress code?

Answer

Our wedding will be formal. We encourage you to dress up and have fun with it! Please don't shy away from bold colors and fun, summer prints. Guests are welcome to wear suits, tuxes, mid and full length dresses and anything fabulous in between!

When should I RSVP by?

We would love to have you RSVP by May 19. Don't forget to book your ferry trip, too!

While we love your littles, this will be an adult-only event.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We will have Trolley service from downtown Friday Harbor, meeting outside the Earthbox Inn, to our venue. The Trolley will pickup at 3:20pm and 3:40pm prior to the ceremony. In the evening, there will be regular service every 30 minutes starting at 8:30pm from the venue to downtown Friday Harbor. Please see our Travel page for more details.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Parking is available onsite, please follow the Event Parking signs as you come up the road. The ceremony and reception will take place at the same property, a few minutes walk from each other. You car is accessible throughout the event.

How do we get from the ferry to the hotels if we walked on?

Answer

We have some great options in our Travel page. Some hotels may also offer shuttle service between the hotel and ferry terminal. Please note, Uber and Lyft are not available on the island. There is also a limited number of taxis (taxis will need to be booked in advance).

Is the ceremony indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony, cocktail hour, and some of the reception will take place outside on various types of ground. The ceremony will take place in a grass field and cocktail hour will have some gravel paths. If you plan to wear heels, we recommend a block sandal or expert level heel walking abilities. Summer in the San Juan Islands is usually sunny and comfortable and can cool off at night. We recommend bringing a light sweater or jacket for the evening. We will have firepits going in the evening.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please check the ferry schedules and buffer in time in case of a delay. If you're taking the Trolley, the last pickup is 3:40pm outside Earthbox Inn. The ceremony will begin around 4pm.
