Springkell

The Wedding Website of Eoin Mc Intyre and Chantal Gerbrandt
Set in the Scottish countryside, Springkell is an elegant Georgian estate built in 1734, a place where nearly three centuries of history and romance come together. Over the years, the house has been expanded and restored by the families who called it home most notably the Johnson-Ferguson family, who have cared for it since 1893. The estate carries influences from the Georgian, Regency, and Edwardian eras. Estate timber was crafted into rich woodwork, new fireplaces were added, and light-filled windows replaced the originals. The striking marble entrance hall and the terraced gardens on the south side were designed to welcome guests. Inside, you’ll find rooms filled with art and treasures collected from travels across Europe. The grand Regency drawing room, with its sweeping bow windows and ornate plasterwork, is timeless, graceful, and full of character. Despite its history, the house feels warm, inviting, and lived in. It’s the perfect place for us to begin this next chapter.
