Answer
When and where is the wedding? July 1, 2026 at Springkell, Eaglesfield, Scotland. What time should guests arrive? We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes before the ceremony start time. So be there by 2:30pm. Is the wedding indoors or outdoors? Parts of the day will be outdoors, weather permitting. Please plan accordingly for Scottish weather.

Answer
Formal attire please! This means floor-length gowns or elegant cocktail dresses for ladies, and suits or tuxedos with a tie or bow tie for gentlemen. As our celebration will take place at a historic Scottish estate, we encourage timeless, elegant looks. Kilts are warmly welcomed for those who wish to wear them. Please note that parts of the day may be outdoors, so we recommend bringing layers or a wrap to stay comfortable. Most importantly, wear something that makes you feel confident, comfortable, and ready to celebrate with us.

What are the best airports to fly into? The closest major airports are Glasgow (GLA) and Edinburgh (EDI). Lockerbie is easily accessible by car or train from both. Are there ferry options for guests coming from Ireland? Yes! Guests can bring their cars via ferry from Northern Ireland (Belfast or Larne) to Cairnryan, followed by a short drive to Springkell.

Where should guests stay? We’ve listed a variety of affordable hotels and B&Bs in Lockerbie, Dumfries, and nearby towns on our Travel & Stay page. Can guests stay at Springkell? Yes! There is limited accommodation available at Springkell for the night before and the night of the wedding. Rooms are limited and will be allocated on a first-come basis. If you’re interested, please inquire on the wedding invitation or reach out directly to Eoin or Chantal at chantaleoin@gmail.com.

Is parking available at the venue? Yes, parking is available on site at Springkell. Will transportation be provided to and from the venue? At this time, guests should plan their own transportation. We recommend driving or carpooling where possible.
