Transportation

San Miguel de Allende is about 270km from Mexico City. You may rent a car, take a bus or if we have a large group arriving at the same time we can coordinate a van/bus. We can help you coordinate. Bus option #1: From Mexico City's Airport: First class bus to Querétaro run by Primera Plus. From there you take a taxi to San Miguel. You may buy your ticket at Primera Plus (www.primeraplus.com.mx) in advance or when you arrive at the airport. It costs MXN 385 pesos (USD 22). Follow the "Transporte Terrestre" sign. From the Airport to Queretaro it takes 3 hrs. The taxi from Queretaro to San Miguel should cost about MXN 550 (USD 31). The ride should take about 45 minutes. Bus Option #2 From Mexico City's Central Norte: First-class buses take 4 hours (with one stop in Querétaro). The company ETN (www.etn.com.mx) has the best service, with wide seats that recline far back (four buses per day). Primera Plus (www.primeraplus.com.mx) has two buses per day.

Passport/Visa

Brazilians, Americans, Canadians and Europeans don't need a visa to enter Mexico. Just be sure to have a valid passport (at least valid for 6 months).
