What day should we arrive in Alaska?

Since there are some logistics involved in getting from Anchorage to Homer, we recommend flying into Anchorage no later than Wednesday morning (July 6) to ensure you arrive in Homer by Wednesday night and are ready to celebrate with us on Thursday!

How do we get to Homer from Anchorage?

Answer

Depending on your time and budget, there are a few ways you can choose to travel to Homer: (1) Enjoy the 4 hour scenic drive by renting a car or RV, this option provides you with the freedom & flexibility of stopping wherever you please and making an adventure out of the drive! Prices vary from $35/day for a car - $150/day for RVs. (2) Book a ticket on a shuttle bus from Anchorage to Homer, the busses run Monday - Friday departing Anchorage at 2pm and arriving in Homer at 7pm. One way tickets for $99/pp. (3) If you're short on time or not looking for a road trip, you can book a charter plane from Anchorage to Homer, the flight is only 45 minutes and is about $300 round trip.
