We will be celebrating the 4th of July at Miller's Landing in Seward, Alaska. There are lots of cabins, campgrounds and RV spots at Miller's Landing, so if you're in the area and want to celebrate with us - check it out! Seward will have a 4th of July parade, spend the day strolling historic downtown streets with vendors and your favorite food carts. There will be a fireworks show that starts at midnight (12:01 a.m.), once it is actually dark enough to light up the sky! The fireworks launch from the Harbor Uplands, near the Mariners Memorial. You can spot them from all over town, but some favorite viewing spots include the Seward Waterfront Park, Seward Boat Harbor, or on a boat in the bay.

Shuttle Pick-up (Homer to Venue)

We want everyone to feel free to drink and have a good time at our wedding without stressing about getting to and from the party. We have arranged for a shuttle to pick up at XYZ location at XYZ time. Our wedding venue is a 30 minute drive from Homer. If you choose to drive yourself, there is plenty of parking available at the venue but cars cannot be left overnight.

Casual Attire: Anything goes, from sundresses and sandals to jeans and tees, just make sure to bring your dancing shoes! Summer weather in Alaska is unpredictable, please check the weather forecast prior to packing and bring a coat to stay warm into the evening.
Grab a drink, a seat, and probably a box of tissues as we exchange vows and become Husband and Wife - the reason you came all this way, right?!
Reception
4:30 pm - 10:00 pm
Dry your tears and refill your drink because this is when the party really starts! Food will be served after the ceremony along with some toasts to the happy couple. Help yourself to the open bar and show us your best moves on the dancefloor!
