We have previously enjoyed hikes to Mackenzie King Estate, followed by a meal and drink in Chelsea. If you are looking for a quick bite or drink, try Chelsea Pub, Roberta Pizza Romana, or Biscotti & Cie - these are some of our favourites!

Located only a short distance from the venue is a true gem! For those of you seeking a more serene activity, this may be just what you are looking for. Open both day and night, Eco-Odyssee is a great option for those looking to get out into nature!
Watersport Equipment Rentals
Looking to explore the Wakefield by water?! Expéditions Wakefield is a local shop that offers hourly equipment rentals. Whether you are an experienced paddler, or looking to try paddleboarding for the first time, this may be your chance! Located just steps from the Gatineau River, there is no need to haul extra equipment to a far off land - just cross the street and enjoy!
Nordik Spa
If you're looking for a relaxing day or evening surrounded by nature, Nordik Spa is the place for you! With saunas, cold pools, relaxing areas, and restaurants, there's something for everyone to enjoy. We've visited this spa annually, and have loved our experience each time.
Kōena Spa
Kōena Spa is another great option for those looking to take a break and relax! We have both thoroughly enjoyed the spa facilities Kōena has to offer - particularly the baths, spas, and relaxation areas! Food and drink are also available at this retreat meaning there is no reason to leave until the lights are shut off!
Golf Edelweiss
While there are many courses in the region, Golf Edelweiss is located the nearest to the wedding venue. Located in the Gatineau Hills, Golf Edelweiss is great for those looking to get out on the links!
Parc Omega
Discover the wild animals of Canada from the comfort of your own vehicle on this 12 kilometer safari course. Be prepared to feed the deer and get up close and personal with some of the largest land animals that Canada has to offer! Sleeping pods are also available for those looking to make a longer trip. Parc Omega is located approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes from the wedding venue.
Camp Fortune
The Aerial Park at Camp Fortune features two courses; one is a moderate level aerial park featuring ziplines and other obstacles, while the second is designed specifically for children. Grab a harness and try this fun, and exciting obstacle course high above ground!
Great Canadian Bungee
This is not for the faint of heart! A 200' high zipline spanning over 1000' is also available at this facility. If you ask us, the zipline is plenty enough to get your heart racing!
Casino du Lac-Leamy
For our guests 18+ Casino du Lac-Leamy features live tables, slot machines, and the well-known Zone! Visitors can also grab a meal at one of the featured restaurants or catch a show at the theatre!
