Question
Where will the ceremony be held?
Answer
Like the reception, the ceremony will be held at Le Belvédère - 40 Des Sentiers, Wakefield, QC. Weather permitting, the ceremony will be held outside overlooking the cliffside and surrounding landscape.

What time should I arrive?
Answer
A detailed schedule of events is available on the website. The ceremony start time is 5:00pm. Please note, the doors to the main building will remain closed for guests until 45 minutes prior to the ceremony. We kindly ask that guests arrive between 4:30-4:45pm to secure seating.
Question
Can I bring my kids and/or plus one?
Answer
While we wish all could attend our special day, your wedding invitation will specify the total number of guests invited.

What should I wear?
Answer
Cocktail attire. This could mean cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits, and both light and dark jackets with slacks. Think of it as in between black tie and casual attire.

Can I take photos?
Answer
Of course! While photos are encouraged throughout the evening to document time spent with family and friends, we kindly ask that your phones and cameras remain off during the ceremony itself. For those wishing to have photos of the ceremony, our photographer will be onsite capturing every moment. Photos of the ceremony and reception will be made available for viewing afterwards.

Will alcohol be served?
Answer
For guests 18+, alcohol will be available at the venue. Please note, Le Belvédère has a zero-tolerance policy for alcohol being brought in offsite. We kindly ask that all of our guests respect this policy. There is both an indoor and outdoor bar at Le Belvédère offering a variety of beers, cocktails, soft drinks, non-alcoholic drinks, and more. Signature drinks will be available throughout the evening. Unlimited wine (Pinot Grigio and Cabernet Sauvignon) will be served throughout the dinner service. Complimentary soft drinks, juice, virgin cocktails, coffee and tea will be made available to all of our guests throughout the evening. When required, payment can be accepted by way of Visa, Mastercard, and Debit.

When, and how do I RSVP?
Answer
RSVP information will be made available on your invitation. You may expect your invitation to arrive later this year. Until then, no need to RSVP!

What will the weather be like?
Answer
Given the time of year, it is expected to be rather warm outside. Le Belvédère offers a wonderful outdoor space that will be used for the ceremony and cocktail hour, so please keep this in mind. As for the main building, it is air conditioned!

What transportation options are available to and from the venue?
Answer
Given the remote location of the venue, ride sharing services (Uber, Lyft) are unavailable. Taxis may be available to take you to Gatineau or Ottawa, however, they need to be prearranged before arriving to the wedding. If needed, your car can be left overnight at the venue and can be picked up by noon the following day.
