We met not long before Jonah graduated from IU and was set to begin his Social Work program. That first summer was full of sailing, a trip to South Haven, and a growing certainty that this was Something Big. Two graduations later, we shoved everything that would fit into our cars and made the move to New Orleans. We've navigated the wonky Nola infrastructure, making friends, and adopting a dog together. There's been a pandemic, new jobs for each of us, a minor house collapse, and Emma started school again. There's also been a lot of laughter, movie nights, and joy. Neither of us could ask for a kinder, more sweet partner to do it all with. We can't be sure what the future holds, but we know we're going to face it together.
