Our Story
We met our Freshman year at Lawrence University, where we and our new friends (the Kohler Kubs) lived in the same dorm. The first hint of a crush formed as we shared math and English classes, but we really hit it off one night when, while the Kubs were hanging in the common room, we started throwing a paper airplane back and forth with questions written on it for each other. We filled one plane, then another, and soon enough we were breaking Kubs tradition of eating dinner as a group for the two of us to sneak away on our first date! We continued to bond over our love of nature, games, and education. After we graduated college, we worked, laughed, and loved our way through five years in Madison. For Valentine’s Day 2025, we popped up to Door County for a (very snowy) getaway weekend, featuring a very important question! The following summer, we relocated to Northern Virginia to be closer to family.

For one Halloween at Lawrence me and the gals went as the 4 houses in Harry Potter, so Jamie had to be a "Hairy Potter". Fall 2017.
