FAQs

The Wedding Website of Emma Fletcher and James Daigler
Question

When can I RSVP?

Answer

We will open up the RSVP section of this site as we get closer to the date so that you have time to solidify plans! Please let us know if you have any questions in the meantime!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Summer cocktail attire. The ceremony will be outdoors and the reception will be indoors with the option of being outdoors. Bring your dancing shoes!

Question

How do I get to the Spruce Mountain Ranch for the wedding?

Answer

Transportation will be provided from the Inverness Denver hotel to the ranch. More details to come. Please visit this page again as we get closer to the date. If you are driving yourself, when you arrive at the ranch go through the gates and keep right. Follow signs for "Albert's Lodge". You should see a large parking lot nearby. Make sure to arrive at least 30 minutes before the ceremony begins.

Question

How do I travel between the ceremony and reception site?

Answer

The ceremony site is a half mile from the reception venue. Spruce Mountain Ranch has an in-house shuttle that can drive guests to and from within 100 feet of the ceremony site. It's also a beautiful walk if you'd like to stretch your legs (especially on the way back, it's downhill ;) .

Question

Can I use my phone during the ceremony?

Answer

We respectfully ask you to turn off phones and refrain from taking pictures during the ceremony. We have two professional photographers who will be taking photos during the ceremony and we will share the pictures!

Question

Any tips for the Colorado climate?

Answer

1. The event site is at 7300 feet in elevation, so be aware of the altitude! Monitor for signs of altitude sickness (headache, dizziness, nausea, etc) and tell someone if you aren't feeling well. We will have plenty of water available at the venue, but be sure to stay hydrated during your visit. Avoid heavy alcohol consumption and strenuous activities. 2. Bring lots of moisturizer and chapstick - it is very dry! 3. The sun is unforgiving. Don't forget to pack sunscreen and light layers to protect yourself from the sun.

Question

Are kids invited to all of the events?

Answer

Yes, we love your kids and we hope that they will have a memorable time throughout our wedding weekend. Please feel free to bring them to the welcome party, the wedding, and the goodbye breakfast. The one event that could get tricky for kids is the ceremony. Our ceremony will take place on a peaceful hillside with only a small bathroom nearby, hidden by trees. It is a half mile walk from the reception site, with that entire walk being in full view of ceremony guests.

Question

So we're in Colorado... can we smoke weed? (a note on smoking/drugs)

Answer

This passage comes directly from our contract with the venue: "Use of tobacco, marijuana, or smoking of any substances, are prohibited inside any of the Spruce Mountain buildings. Smoking of tobacco is only allowed outside in areas where proper butt and ash receptacles are provided. Use of marijuana or use of any illegal substances of any kind, in any form, are strictly prohibited in any and all areas on the Spruce Mountain property." So no.
