The Nuptial Mass is the celebration of the Sacrament of Matrimony within the Catholic Church. It is a sacred ceremony where a couple exchanges their marriage vows before God, a priest, and the Church community. In the Catholic faith, marriage is not just a legal contract but a holy covenant blessed by God. The Nuptial Mass includes the celebration of the Eucharist, which strengthens the couple’s bond and invites God’s grace into their married life. This sacrament is central to our faith, symbolizing the lifelong commitment and spiritual unity between husband and wife, witnessed and supported by the Church. *Please note: We joyfully welcome all of our brothers and sisters in Christ to share in the celebration of our wedding Mass. The Eucharist is a sacred sign of unity within the Catholic Church. Those who are not Catholic or not prepared to receive Communion are invited to come forward with arms crossed over the chest to receive a simple blessing from the priest, as a sign of spiritual communion and shared faith in Christ’s love.
Please join us in black-tie optional attire as we celebrate this special day. The Nuptial Mass will be held in a Catholic church, where modest dress is deeply appreciated to maintain the reverence and solemnity of the Mass. We kindly ask all guests to dress thoughtfully in a manner that honors the sacredness of the occasion. In late October, Vail’s temperatures can vary significantly, ranging from around 60°F during the day and 25°F at night. We recommend dressing in layers and bringing warm outerwear to stay comfortable throughout the celebration. The cocktail hour will be held outside on the patio of the Donovan, so warmer dress is recommended!
We look forward to celebrating with you, so bring your dancing shoes and get ready for a wonderful evening. Please kindly note that our wedding will be an adults-only event, and we respectfully ask that children be left at home.
All invited guests will be listed on the invitation with their name. We can not accommodate for additional guests not listed on the invitation due capacity limits at the venue.
You can check out the travel tab for detailed information about getting to Vail, parking, and getting to the chapel and reception.
Kindly submit your RSVP by August 23 to help us finalize our plans.
We kindly ask that no photos be taken during the Nuptial Mass to maintain the sacred atmosphere and respect our professional photographers. Additionally, there will be specific moments throughout the day—such as during speeches, toasts, and dances—when we request guests refrain from taking photos or videos. These times will be clearly announced by the MC. Outside of these moments, you are welcome to capture and share special memories! Please feel free to post on social media and tag us so we can enjoy your photos as well!

Absolutely! We look forward to celebrating with you on the dance floor. To help you dance comfortably, we will be providing flip flops for guests to wear so you can kick off your heels and enjoy the evening.
Guests who park in the free Vail Village parking garage will find the chapel just a 10-minute walk away. Following the Wedding Mass, we encourage you to explore the charm of both Vail villages. Walking from the chapel to the Donovan Pavilion is also an option. And for anyone concerned about footwear, flip-flops will be provided at the reception so everyone can hit the dance floor in comfort!
