Matron of Honor
Emily Elizabeth (or EE as I call her) and I began our friendship as sisters in our sorority. But it has done nothing but blossomed into one of the most impactful friendships that I have ever had. We became roommates and spent countless nights laughing, watching Vampire Diaries, and becoming the best friends that we are today! A fun fact: Robert calls me EE’s wifey because whenever he’s trying to spend time with EE or on the phone with her.... guess who calls?! It’s become one of our funniest inside jokes! I cannot wait to help celebrate this beautiful couple! See you at the alter folks!! My go to dance anthem is Dancing Queen from Mama MIA!
Best Man
Besides being the best man, I can also juggle a whopping three objects—simultaneously. This feat I have no intention of showing off at the wedding for fear of breaking something expensive so just imagine how cool my juggling is. To say that Robert and I go way back is an understatement. I have known him for my entire life—destined to meet from the moment I was born. I considered using this space to weave an epic yarn about our relation but writing upon our relationship for an event as momentous as his wedding makes me feel a gravity I typically don’t feel. Robert and I have always gotten along better than siblings and it has been an honor to always have someone with which I can confide. I wish him nothing but the best in starting his new life together with someone he loves dearly.
Maid of Honor
Emily Elizabeth (EE) and I met through our sorority Delta Phi Epsilon at Georgia Southern University. We really became close when we went on a backpacking trip together at Fort Mountain. Since then we have been in a car crash together, worked at Disney together, and shared a twin bed for many sleepovers together. Fun fact, my favorite food is ice cream and my hidden talent is photography!
Best Woman
Little did I know walking into my 7th grade math class that I would find a best friend in the goofy kid sitting next to me. My family got to take Robert to his first concert and I probably spent more 4th of July’s at the Thompson’s than my own. Now, over 10 years later and I have pleasure of seeing my best friend get married to someone who is truly the best partner and is a wonderful friend to me as well. I’m forever grateful for all the laughs and great memories I’ve shared so far with Robert and Emily and certainly not going to Chick-fil-A without her. I can’t wait for many more.
Bridesmaid
When EE became my roommate at Disney, I gained a forever friend. From nights spent on the living room floor with Netflix and a glass of wine, to (bad) country line dancing, all the way to midnight ice cream trips. Seeing her and Robert together made my heart soar from the first day I met him. He would spend nights in Florida with us laughing & becoming the “house mom”. Being in Disney I know magic and love, and they are the definition of Happily Ever After! At the wedding, catch me leading the way for the Cha Cha Slide! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Fun fact: In Dinoland USA, I operated a ride called Tricera-top-spin (think dumbo but cooler because, dinosaurs) and I sang a song into the mic to help guests feel the magic before they went Dino-SOARING! ✨ In the words of The Mouse “I’ll see you all real soon!”
Groomsman
Bridesmaid
I met Emily Elizabeth at Georgia Southern University's BUILD program as an incoming freshman. Although EE was not my leader, we quickly became friends. Little did I know how much our paths would cross throughout college, as we were both in Southern Leaders, similar classes and the same sorority. To this day, I look up to EE in so many ways because she is driven, compassionate and adventurous. Eventually, I had the pleasure of meeting Robert at sorority events, who we discovered was my neighbor my sophomore year and who was the backbone of our sorority my junior and senior year. Like EE, he was always willing to help and I have many memories of laughter with them both. I wish them the best, and catch me rocking out to "Dancing Queen" on their big day. See ya real soon!
Officiant
This one time at band camp, we were driving from Eagle Village all the way across campus to the practice fields and we noticed two boys lugging heavy instrument cases down the street. Since we were well over a mile from the practice fields, we stopped to give them a ride. One of the boys ended up being Robert and the rest is history! Dance anthem: Pon de Replay by Rihanna Fav ride at Disney is Expedition Everest
House Party and Usherette
I met Emily Elizabeth at Georgia Southern through a leadership organization, but we became best pals through DPhiE. From recruitment to roommates she has always been one of the most authentic people I know!! I got to know Robert through him coming to visit the DPhiE house and cracking jokes at our cooking skills and disney movie marathons. I love them so much and am so excited to be apart of their big, long-awaited day!! ❤️ I will be waiting on the dance floor all night for either Mr. Brightside or Wonderwall!
House Party and Usherette
We met through DPhiE (I think?? You were so involved on campus I wouldn’t be surprised if we crossed paths before lol.) but a fun mem would def be movie nights with all the house girls and I think we got closest serving on exec together!! I think my favorite memory though was spring break in Nashville...we had so much fun and Robert played that prank on you via the phone...please tell me you remember! A song I’ll def get down to is Mr. Bright side. I know it’s our generations free bird but I CANNOT help myself when it comes on. If that’s too basic I have been known to karaoke Goodbye Earl Fun fact: I normally say I worked at Disney, but we all did! My favorite ride at Disney was for sure mission space, orange track at Epcot. And my favorite in animal is and always has been a Cheetah.
House Party and Usherette
Emily Elizabeth and I met in Delta Phi Epsilon sorority and when I met her I instantly knew I wanted her to be my big. She has shown me non stop love and support throughout the years and I can’t wait to do the same for her big day!! Emily Elizabeth is someone I look up to. Her passion and drive inspires me to work hard and fight for something I believe in. I love you EE! -song: say so Doja Cat! -fun fact: I am obsessed with sloths
House Party and Usherette
Emily Elizabeth and I met in 2016 while I was going through my new member process with Delta Phi Epsilon. Our friendship began over Bachelor Monday’s and becoming Big/Little. From the first time I met her, I knew she was the most genuine person I would ever meet. Fun fact: My favorite animal is an owl.
House Party and Usherette
I met Emily Elizabeth in Delta Phi Epsilon and we instantly became close friends! She’s always the pick-me-up & encourager in my life and I’m so thankful that we still get to do life together post-graduation! My favorite memory is probably the multiple times we’d have girls nights at her place and force Robert to watch the bachelor/bachelorette with us. He’d judge all the girls/guys with us 🤣💛. Fun fact about me.... I always have a straw with me and almost can’t drink a drink without one 🤦🏽♀️
