February 2023 — We met on Hinge. Daniel messaged Emily about her NYC Marathon photo—because running 26.2 miles screams long-term potential.
May 2023 - Newly dating and off on our first adventure to Seattle to see Emily's friends Cat & Elliot - Daniel's "only" request: gluten free beer and a sea plane tour.
June 2023 - Nothing says you are falling in love like agreeing to wear matching outfits with your girlfriend out in public :)
Sep 2023 - Our first wedding as a couple where Daniel started his favorite hobby - proclaiming he could move to every destination wedding location - especially Sun Valley Idaho!
October 2023 Pt 1 - Powered by the cheers of his family and girlfriend; Daniel runs the Chicago Marathon! And thus starts the true test of a "racing relationship" :)
October 2023 Pt 2 - Daniel introduces Emily to is friends and family in Tallahassee at the wedding celebration of Sam and Farah!
March 2024 - You can't be a true Chicagoan without seeing the green river on St. Patrick's day! Solidifying our love for our home with a pint of Guinness - and a shot of Malort!
April 2024 — London, Paris, and 26.2 miles - taking our relationship to the next level with some international travel and our first marathon as pace partners!
May 2024 - Exploring the outdoors with our first camping trip in the Grand Canyon. Featuring loads of sunscreen, beautiful views, a few games of Yahtzee and many memories!
September 2024 - A visit to a tiny island off the coast of MA; Daniel visit's Emily's favorite place Martha's Vineyard!
November 2024 - Making Thanksgiving in Boston a tradition with gluten free stuffing and the Casey bowling tournament!
December 2024 - We hit the slopes to close out the year in Salt Lake City. Taking the Tallahassee boy out on the slopes for his first west coast skiing adventure!
February 2025 — On a suspiciously warm Friday, Daniel brought Emily their favorite spot in Lincoln Park—conveniently close to their future wedding venue. He asked. She said yes!
