Staying in Idaho a bit longer? Take a day trip to Redfish Lake! Located an hour from Sun Valley, you'll climb a steep mountain road that leads to one of the most beautiful lakes with crystal blue water, surrounded by snowcapped mountains. From there you can sit on the beach, eat lunch at the beachside cafe, or rent paddle boards, canoes and pontoons out on the lake. Without cell service, you'll truly feel off the grid.
Did you know that 80% of Americans can't see the Milky Way anymore? Idaho Dark Sky Reserve Designation means that Sun Valley has some of the best opportunities for viewing the night sky, not only in the U.S, but in the world!
