When should I RSVP by?

What's the dress code?
Answer
The dress code is casual/semi-casual. We want everyone to be comfortable!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
Guests are welcome at 3:30 pm. The ceremony will begin inside the chalet at Hyland Hills Ski Area at 4:00 pm with the reception to follow. Our full schedule can be found in the navigation menu above.

What will the weather be like?
Answer
Temps can range anywhere from 50-70 degrees this time of year. The main festivities will take place indoors but the outdoor patio and lawn will be available to guests.

What types of food and drinks will be served?
Answer
We'll have select wine, beer, hard cider, and unlimited soda available to guests. Food will be served buffet-style by our caterer, Sawatdee Thai Cuisine. Dessert will be catered by Nothing Bundt Cakes.

Is there a seating chart for the reception?
Answer
Select tables will be reserved for the wedding party but all other guests may sit wherever they'd like.

Are kids welcome?

Yes, kids are accounted for based on your party's invitation.

Can I bring additional guests?
Answer
The number of guests will be indicated by each party. Due to the small capacity of our venue, some guests may receive fewer invitations than others.

How do I get to the venue? Will transportation be provided?
Answer
The address can be found on the Schedule tab. Hyland Hills Chalet (Hyland Hills Ski Area) provides free parking for all guests to use. Guests are welcome to park on-site in designated areas. Due to not meeting a minimum of hotel rooms booked, we were unable to secure a shuttle. Please consider carpooling or using Uber/Lyft Rideshare services.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?
Answer
We've reserved a select number of rooms for September 28th and September 29th at the Renaissance Minneapolis Bloomington Hotel. There are also many other options to choose from close to the venue. More information can be found on the Travel page.
