Taft Museum of Art
A gorgeous art museum right next to the hotel block and ceremony space. I highly recommend going the morning of the wedding if you are looking for things to do. Fun fact: A member of our wedding party used to work at the Taft!
Mount Adams
Full of winding cobblestone streets and small pubs, Mt. Adams is home to The Monastery Event Center, where the Reception will be held. If you would like to explore the area on Saturday morning, you will feel transported outside the city for a few hours. There is free parking on the hill, if you can find it.
The Bow Tie Cafe
Cute coffee shop/bar right around the corner from our reception venue.
Eden Park
A wonderful park at the base of Mt Adams, Eden Park is a wonderful spot if you are exploring the Mt. Adams neighborhood prior to the ceremony.
Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden
Sam is a zoo addict. When we went to Europe I asked him where he wanted to go and he said he wanted to go to at least one zoo... so we went to two! Bonus points if you take a selfie with Fritz the hippo! - Emily
Bengals vs Jets on Sunday, October 26th
If you are a Bengals or an NFL fan, consider attending the Bengals vs Jets game at 1pm the day after the wedding. Who knows, maybe the bride and groom will join! Tickets are going for as low as $120 right now because really, who wants to watch the Jets?
