Things To Do

We are so excited to share some of our "must do's" in our favorite city!

Wicked Weed Brewing Pub

91 Biltmore Avenue, Asheville, NC 28801
, (828) 575-9599

Our favorite brewery in the heart of Asheville's South Slope District! Wicked Weed is one of our most visted spots offering amazing beers and a tasty food menu. This is our go-to spot after a long morning hike! If you are into sour beers, don't miss the Wicked Weed Funkatorium! The Funkatorium was the first sour-dedicated taproom to open in the South and will not disappoint!

LaZoom Tours

76 Biltmore Avenue, Asheville, NC 28801
, (828) 225-6932

A unique and fun way to see the neighborhoods of Asheville, North Carolina. The tour kicks off in the South Slope district (across the street from Wicked Weed) and takes guest through the GORGEOUS Montford historic neighborhood. There are many kinds of tours you can take with Lazoom, however we highly recommend the absolutely hilarious comedy tour, and the band and brew tour! All tours are BYOB and a promise for a great time!

Craggy Gardens

NC 28778

The first hike that we ever completed near Asheville! Craggy Gardens offers one of the most breathtaking views of the the Blue Ridge Mountains. This family friendly hike is only 1.4 miles round-trip, and a relatively easy climb to the top (and so worth it). The start of Craggy Gardens begins off the STUNNING Blue Ridge Parkway, which we highly recommend all our guests check-out. There are many "pullover" stops along the parkway to snatch some great mountain photos.

Sierra Nevada Brewing Co.

100 Sierra Nevada Way, Fletcher, NC 28732
, (828) 681-5300

Sierra Nevada's East Coast headquarters is a marvel to behold. The brewery, or perhaps castle is a more appropriate description, is nestled on a 10+ acre private, wooded lot, a short 20-minute drive from Asheville. Make a reservation for dinner and enjoy a beer and live music by the fire outside while waiting for your table.

Biltmore Estate

Biltmore Estate Drive, Asheville, NC

Visit Vanderbilt's magnum opus in the Blue Ridge Mountains. After taking a quick trip to Asheville in the late 1800's, Vanderbilt realized the mountain air soothed his respiratory ailments. Relying on his wealth and employing the premier architects of the day, Vanderbilt built the largest privately-owned house in the United States. Plan a visit to the house, tour Olmstead's gardens, and sample wines from Biltmore's vineyard.

Catawba Falls Parkway

Catawba Falls Parkway, Old Fort, NC 28711

Catawba Falls is our top recommendation for anyone looking to do a hike that offers water falls. This (also relatively) easy hike is 3 miles round-trip though the trees of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The hike dead ends into the Falls, which is a beauty to look at, and a great place to take a summer swim! We recommend heading to Catawba early as this is a popular hike!
