We met at Cardinal Mooney High School in Sarasota, Florida! While just friends at this point in our lives, we had no idea what the future would hold for us. Fast forward ten years, and we both landed jobs in Atlanta, GA. With strong encouragement from Alex's brother and Emily's sister to reconnect in ATL (and maybe some assistance from bumble). Emily made the first move and invited Alex to trivia night at Whitehall Tavern. Pretty sure Alex only agreed to come with because Whitehall is Atlanta's notorious Buffalo Bill's bar... and everyone know's that the Bill's are Alex's first true love :). Emily also made the second move and invited Alex to an Orangetheory class, at 5 AM, and he took her up on it. We have been attached at the hip and each other's partner's in life since!

Over the years Asheville has become our escape from the bustling city of Atlanta. It truly is such a special place that we feel we can relax, unwind, and drink amazing beer. It also really is the most romantic city and it's hard not to fall in love with Asheville! Since we share a birthday "week" we decided we wanted to plan a big trip - maybe Europe or Hawaii? BUT during planning Alex found out he was admitted into Emory's MBA Program (WOOT ALEX!) and that limited the amount of time we had to travel. So, we decided to book another Asheville trip, take some time off and escape to the mountains, and I am so thankful we did! Alex proposed on the most stunning lagoon on the Biltmore property on the most beautiful day! It truly was a DREAM... he killed the proposal!!! Following the proposal, we had dinner reservations that we had previously made for our Birthday Dinner. Alex planned for our parents to be there and they surprised Emily at dinner. We could not have asked for a more perfect day!

We are over the moon excited and can't wait to share our favorite city with all our favorite people!
