Question

Will I still need a visa to visit Italy?

Answer

UPDATE: The EU has recently announced that the implementation of the ETIAS Visa has been postponed to 2026. Travelers from the US, UK, and Australia will no longer need this Visa to visit Italy at the time of the wedding!

Question

Where is the Welcome Party?

Answer

We are so excited to welcome you to Ravello! To celebrate your arrival, we are hosting a welcome party on Friday, October 3rd at Palazzo Confalone in Ravello. Please refer to the “Schedule” tab for more information!

Question

Where is the Ceremony?

Answer

The Ceremony will be held at the Duomo of Saint Mary of the Assumption, also known as the Duomo di Ravello in Ravello's main square. Please see the "Schedule" section for the address and other important details. The ceremony is set to begin at 3:30pm, please be sure to arrive before then to get a seat!

Question

Where is the Reception?

Answer

The Reception will be held at Villa Eva in Ravello. Following the Ceremony at the Duomo and a toast in the town square, we will be walking as a group to Villa Eva! Please note that, although it is a short 5 minute walk to Villa Eva, the streets of Ravello are cobblestone, and there are a few stairs along the way. We recommend women wear block heels, or bring a comfortable pair of shoes for the walk. The reception will go until 2:00 am at Villa Eva, but feel free to leave whenever you'd like.

Question

Will there be transportation to/from the venue or church?

Answer

We will not be providing transportation, as all hotels in Ravello are a 5-15 minutes walk from Villa Eva! There are numerous signs directing you towards the Villa from town centre, and it is easily visible as the highest point in town (and along the Amalfi Coast!). We recommend you confirm your walking directions ahead of the wedding day. If you choose to stay outside of Ravello, cabs and public transport can involve wait times. Please ensure you have arranged your ride to/from the venue ahead of time to not risk missing the ceremony. Please reach out to our wedding planners at booking@wagnertours.it for any questions or if you need any assistance with booking transportation.

Question

How do I confirm my attendance?

Answer

We'll be sending out formal invitations that include a return envelope to mail back your RSVPs for the wedding weekend. Please return the RSVP card with the requested information ahead of the deadline to let us know if you can make it! Please be sure to list any food allergies on the reply card so we can inform the caterers.

Question

What is the dress code for the weekend?

Answer

The wedding dress code is Black Tie. For men we recommend suits or tuxes and for women, elegant evening dresses. For the welcome party on Friday, cocktail attire is recommended. In regards to footwear, please keep in mind that the cocktail hour and reception will be held outdoors in the gardens, though there are plenty of paved walkways throughout the property. Dinner and Dancing will be on paved ground. Please note there will be some stairs to navigate on your way to the venue. We recommend bringing an extra pair of comfortable shoes to walk in if that's a concern!

Question

What if I can't make the Welcome Party?

Answer

No worries! Just let us know in the return card when you RSVP or shoot us a text so that we can plan accordingly.

Question

Should I renew my Passport before traveling?

Answer

The 6-month passport rule states that your passport must be valid for at least a further six months before you depart for international travel. While this rule differs from country to country, we recommend renewing your passport ahead of time to avoid any issues.

Question

Can I bring a guest/date?

Answer

Due to limited capacity we will only be able to accomodate those specifically listed on your invitation.

Question

Can I bring my children?

Answer

Although we love your little ones, we intend to keep this is an adults-only celebration (with a few exceptions for our immediate family). If you require babysitting services, please let us know!

Question

What will the weather in Ravello be like this time of year?

Answer

In early October, the weather in Ravello is typically mild and pleasant! Daytime temperatures usually range from 64°F to 75°F (18°C to 24°C), with cooler evenings around 59°F to 64°F (15°C to 18°C). We recommend bringing a wrap or cover-up for the night-time!

Question

Is the reception indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The cocktail hour will be held on the Villa grounds, in fully or partially outdoor spaces. We will have the Villa to ourselves, so you are welcome to go inside whenever you'd like. Dinner will be held under a covered patio area, and dancing will be indoors.

Question

Will there be any special dietary options?

Answer

Yes! Please let us know of your dietary needs on your RSVP card, or reach out to us directly so that we can plan accordingly.

Question

How should I manage the stairs?

Answer

Along with the Amalfi Coast's dramatic cliffs comes the inevitability of stairs! Fortunately there are only a few flights of stairs required to reach our venue. Throughout the coast and in Ravello, it is often possible to arrange a porter from your hotel to collect your bags for you. We highly recommend reaching out to them ahead of time to plan your arrival!

Question

What type of payments are accepted in the area?

Answer

While contactless pay is largely available in the area, we recommend having both a widely accepted credit card (i.e. Visa/Mastercard), and some Euros on hand for any cash payments.
