Sister of the bride. Emily followed Laura to Memphis for college and it is a good thing she did because she met Kyle through the trivia team Laura helped to found. Vive France France Revolution! Laura recently completed her PhD in political science with a focus in Latin American and comparative politics at Vanderbilt. In her free time, Laura likes knitting and embroidering while watching British TV.
Zach Sloan
Best Man
Zach and Kyle met in elementary school and maintained a close friendship while attending different high schools and universities. Zach lived for years in New York City, while studying at NYU, and always found time to keep in touch with Kyle. A native of Memphis, Zach works for the University of Tennessee as a web designer and programmer for the school's bioinformatics research lab. He is fluent in Japanese, knowledgable about all things tech and politics, and a true master of absurdist humor.
Amy Schaag
Bridesmaid
Amy is the first friend Emily made in high school. They bonded over books, music, and theatre. Amy now lives in St. Charles, Missouri with her husband, Jack, and three cats. Emily, Kyle, Amy, and Jack recently returned from a trip together to Mexico City. Amy is an optometrist who is training for roller derby and is learning how to taxidermy.
Matt Breeden
Groomsman
Matt and Kyle met in high school in Memphis, where it quickly became evident to Kyle that Matt possesses both the biggest of brains and the largest of hearts. Matt makes his living as a family practice physician and in his free time he has been training for and running marathons. He currently resides in St. Louis, Missouri with his wife, Laura, and their two wonderful kids, Liam and Maisy.
Jenny Wilborn

Jenny is a best friend from high school. After college, Jenny spent two years in Korea teaching English on a Fulbright. Jenny got Emily into the world of Korean pop culture. Jenny and her two dogs live in sunny San Diego, California. Jenny works for Intuit and in her free time enjoys natural fabric dying, reading, and traveling to see friends.
Ken MacNair
Groomsman
Brother of the groom, Ken grew up in Chicago—Go Cubbies!—but currently resides in Memphis, Tennessee with his beloved pets. He is a talented painter and musician and spends much of his free time exploring the great outdoors. Ken is a familiar face at one of the top rated restaurants in Memphis, serving up dinner and drinks with aplomb.
Kiran Riar
Bridesmaid
Kiran was Emily's first roommate at Rhodes. Emily and Kiran bonded over attending all girls catholic high schools and their love for the author Sarah Vowell. Kiran lives in Memphis, Tennessee with an ever changing menagerie of pets. Kiran works in radio and has been an extra in TV and film. When Emily and Kiran get together there is always lots of Stevie Nicks, bargain hunting, and slumber parties.
Mark Sellers
Groomsman
Brother of the bride. After completing his PhD in physics at Washington University, he was selected for a fellowship with the NIH in D.C.. Mark lives with his girlfriend Sarah in Maryland. In his free time, Mark shares the best dog posts on the internet, has started rock climbing, and is learning how to use his Instapot.
Candice Johnson

Candice is the first friend Emily made in law school. Candice lives in Kansas City with her husband, Crosby, and their pets. Candice works for an employment law firm in town. Candice is a former Spanish and theater teacher so she and Emily have lots in common. Candice and Emily love to get together to eat, drink tea, and crack each other up.
Mark Erskine

Mark and Kyle became friends while Kyle was roommates with Diana, Mark's future wife. An expert on all things Memphis, Mark is a friendly face at any engagement. He is a skilled attorney, excellent cook, avid cyclist, and cat whisperer. Mark is a font of both useful advice and knowledge—and awful puns—making him the perfect teammate at weekly bar trivia. France France Revolution!
Carly Agre
Bridesmaid
Carly and Emily lived together junior and senior years in college and then were neighbors after college. Carly lives in Philadelphia with her husband, Scott, and their cat and dog. Emily, Kyle, Carly, and Scott recently got to spend time together exploring Montreal and Quebec City. Carly is a social worker and in her free time she documents questionable daycare art. Carly and Scott are unable to attend the reception, but send their best wishes!
Kevin MacNair
Groomsman
Brother of the groom, Kevin grew up in Chicago, where he was an avid gardener. A true people person, his talent for engaging in conversation with absolutely anyone is unmatched. He lives in Memphis, Tennessee with his wife, Pam, and their pets. Their son, Parke, is in college a few hours away and makes frequent trips home to visit. Unfortunately, Kevin and his family will not be attending the reception.
