Transportation will be provided to and from all wedding events, but guests are encouraged to rent a car in order to move about the resort easily. Kiawah Island Golf Resort

House Or Rental

Airbnb or VRBO

There are many Airbnb and VRBO options in Kiawah Island. Transportation to and from the wedding will be provided in several places throughout the island for guests staying in home rentals. Rideshares or taxis are very rare and not reliable for on island transportation so guests staying in VRBO or Airbnb should plan accordingly and are encouraged to rent a car to get around more easily. For convenience and proximity to weekend events, we recommend renting in the East Beach or Turtle Point neighborhoods. Travel Note

Transportation

Transportation will be provided from both hotels, and common pickup areas on the island to and from the rehearsal dinner, welcome party and wedding. Please visit the "Events" page of our website for each event's individual pickup schedule. Ubers and Lyfts are not available on the Island so we do not recommend relying on this as a transportation option.

Rental Car

Rental Car

Having a rental car may be beneficial depending on where you stay on the island, especially if you are not staying at a KIGR property. There are plenty of rental options available at the CHS airport! If you choose not to rent a car, taxis are readily available at the airport upon your arrival, but we do suggest setting up a taxi for airport pickup for your departure, as Ubers are very limited on the island.
