Our favorite place for a glass of wine! The wine machines are a fun way to sample different types of wine. Also has great food!

Casual restaurant and bar on the water. With live music every night, this is a great place to grab a drink and watch the sunset.
Ryder Cup Bar
Located at the Ocean Course clubhouse, this is a great place to grab a drink or light snack and soak in the gorgeous views on the veranda or back green,
Night Heron Park
Community park with nature center, pool, children's waterpark, playground and regular recreational programs and activities such as crafts, sports, etc.

Great spot for a hearty, sit down meal at the Sanctuary. Emily especially recommends their breakfast buffet.
Bike
One of the best ways to see the island is by bike! Not only are there miles of bike paths but Kiawah is one of the few places where the sand is hard enough that you can bike on the beach.
Golf
Joe's favorite Kiawah activity! The island is home to five stunning courses including The Ocean Course, Osprey Poiny, Oak Point, Cougar and Turtle Point. Please note that tee times required in advanced for all courses.
Charleston
Charleston, SC is one of Em and Joe's favorite cities in America. It is about 35 minutes away from Kiawah, which makes for an easy day or half day trip. Explore Charleston's cobblestone streets, enjoy a meal at one of it's many delicious restaurants, shop on King Street or take a ride through historical downtown via horse drawn carriage.
