The Wedding Website of Emily Tohir and Joe McCormick
Our wedding weekend will be held in Kiawah Island, South Carolina, somewhere that holds a very special place in both of our hearts. Emily and her family have called Kiawah their second home for close to 15 years and Em and Joe have been coming here together since they started dating five years ago. We love this island and the variety of activities and amenities it provides. From the miles of pristine beaches and marshland incredible dining options, shopping and recreational activities to world class golf and tennis facilities and so much more, Kiawah has a little something for everyone. We are so excited to share some of our favorite spots with all of you!

One of the best ways to see the island is by bike! Not only are there miles of bike paths but Kiawah is one of the few places where the sand is hard enough that you can bike on the beach.

Golf

Golf

Joe's favorite Kiawah activity! The island is home to five stunning courses including The Ocean Course, Osprey Poiny, Oak Point, Cougar and Turtle Point. Please note that tee times required in advanced for all courses.

Charleston

Charleston, SC

Charleston, SC is one of Em and Joe's favorite cities in America. It is about 35 minutes away from Kiawah, which makes for an easy day or half day trip. Explore Charleston's cobblestone streets, enjoy a meal at one of it's many delicious restaurants, shop on King Street or take a ride through historical downtown via horse drawn carriage.
