Short answer: Yes! Long Answer: We're having a small ceremony on September 19, 2020 with social distancing and masks. We going to schedule a wedding (vow renewal) and reception at a later date. We aren't sure of the new date yet, but we will update when we've figured it out.

The ceremony will start promptly at 2:30 pm, so please arrive no later than 2:15 pm. If you arrive a little earlier, feel free to explore the gardens prior to the ceremony.

Yes! There is free parking onsite. There is also a Lyft/Uber drop off spot if you don't drive.
Garden cocktail attire + your finest face mask! Dress to have fun. It is an outdoor event, so be aware that grassy lawns are not always friendly towards high heels.
The average high is 77° F and the average low is 64° F. It is typically not very humid, and so after the sun goes down, it feels a bit cooler out. If you are enjoying time outside, we strongly encourage sunscreen.
We have a limited number of rooms at a group rate at the Best Western. Check out the details under the Travel tab for a link to the discount rate booking. We recommend booking ASAP as there is also a big Woodie Car Show in Encinitas/Moonlight beach the same weekend.
Unfortunately at this time, we are not able to have any food or drinks available at the ceremony. At the postponed celebration, we plan to have both! We'll keep you posted as we know more.
There WAS a car show... The 2020 Wavecrest Woodie Car show was cancelled due to the pandemic. You may still see a higher volume of woodie cars cruising through the area, but there will be no show this year.
